June 5, 2017 9:50 am Ya'll are talking about the Funko Universe books so much that I couldn't help but preorder this trade! https://www.previewsworld.com/Catalog/JUN170501
May 28, 2017 7:13 pm I do feel like if you three talk about Judge Dredd: Funko Universe next week and it's NOT the Patron Pick, which I'll be arguing it shouldn't be, I'll have officially incepted everyone.
May 7, 2017 3:31 pm Don't blame all the Patrons for that pick. I was trying to rally the troops behind the Funko TMNT book. That shit looked adorable. Also, there was a reality show superhero comic called Blood Pack that DC put out back in 1995. It was not good.
April 3, 2017 1:46 pm Really fun episode. Thanks for doing all the Hanna Barbera crossover books. I was dying to know if the Ruff and Ready backup was Good Chaykin or not. It sounds like it... wasn't? Anyway, good listenin' all around. I'm always happy to hear how comics are doing now that I'm barely reading them anymore.
March 6, 2017 1:42 pm Conor, thank you for reading DEATH OF HAWKMAN. Nice to hear that there was true in the title. I was curious about it but not enough to, y'know, buy and read the book myself.
March 1, 2017 5:44 pm By the way, that Clark Kent is clearly the Matrix Supergirl from the '90s, right? Because everything from the '90s is being trotted out again in the DC books. Also, I think that Action Comics should be #974 and not #17.

February 4, 2017 10:15 pm I loved it. This is exactly what I want out of a comic book TV show. Also, it's on NBC, so it's on Hulu, unlike all the things on the CW. That means I can watch it streaming easily, which I plan to do. I'd give it 4.5/5.
February 3, 2017 10:18 pm Man, hearing you guys describe the plot kinda bummed me out. Archie is, to me, an escape. I still buy and read the occasional digest and have bought plenty of those Pep Digital collections of theirs. I've enjoyed the rebooted Archie and love love loved Zdarsky's run on Jughead. But, man, nothing of those things sounds like it's in the show. I do hope that the success of this show and other dark alternative takes on Archie, such as Afterlife with Archie, don't become the standard take on the characters. Here's hoping they keep at least a little pocket of fun for folks to dive back into.
January 10, 2017 2:33 pm Whenever a comic is in B&W and it gets colored, I don't mind. Bone looks great in color. Same with Raina Telgemeier's old Babysitter's Club books, which got a similar treatment. But going back and RE-coloring books? Especially Silver Age stuff? I hate it. I hate it so much. Seeing Kirby with modern coloring looks wrong to me.
