February 1, 2012 12:43 pm Hank being Extant really didn't seem to come up very much but that might have a lot to do with Extant not appearing in many stories at all. Perhaps it was the awful name or the awful rational for why he became a villain, but Hank was out of DC Comics for years.

January 31, 2012 7:38 pm My wife was a big, big fan of Justin Hartley but only seemed to pay attend to those scenes in which he found himself shirtless. If Stephen is in a similar state of undress even half as often as Justin, my wife will probably watch this with me.

January 31, 2012 10:29 am I wonder if Rozum's name will still be on the cover when this comes out. He was on the cover of issue #5 but wasn't listed in the credits of the issue itself. Very odd that the editor of this book missed that detail, especially after Rozum's very public comments about this title.

January 25, 2012 8:03 pm I did like the Total Justice Hawkman action figure. I wish I'd held onto that one.

January 25, 2012 8:00 pm Of the series that I mentioned above, my favorite of the pre-Geoff Johns era was Shadow War of Hawkman / Hawkman Vol. 2. It was just fun super heroics. The Hawkworld stuff wasn't awful, but it hit a little too hard on the political button for my tastes. Katar was all about pointing out America's promise against its reality, which he did every other issue. It got to be a bit much when read in a large gulp, which is how I experienced it after the fact. Perhaps if I'd read it monthly, it wouldn't have been so distracting.
