November 30, 2012 11:56 am Oh my god! Big guy and rusty. I miss them so much, damn columbia pictures not releasing the show on DVD. But seriously i love how it captures the sleek 1950's car look of the big guy and the use of shadow. Heh, makes it seem like they're really made of metal.
November 30, 2012 11:53 am These are all great but i still wish the cover to batman inc #5 was here. Mainly because It had so much going for it, the subtle placement of the batman inc logo, the auburn sky paletette, and the feeling that it mixes a lone gunman feel with a 28 days later apocalypse. I mean its burned into my mind this image of one guy holding back a flood of crazy at the gates of an asylum. Still, art is subjective and to each their own.
November 29, 2012 12:02 pm Bad DC! BAD! You do that outside and in the 90's!
November 20, 2012 1:05 pm My favorite comic and if i could choose one comic to follow this is it. I am completely fascinated by it. I wish more people would talk about this book. Hell even Azz said Wonder Woman grew on him and the same could be said by me.
November 20, 2012 1:02 pm I'm only buying comics regularily now because i can afford them. And even then it's relegated to 3 titles a month. Before then i only read what i could from the library or whatever arcs i could piece together from the comics bin of my used book store. In highschool the only comics i ever bought were jonah hex and hellboy one shots because i could afford them once in a long while and they were a complete story in each issue. The first series i ever followed completely was the blackest night event because i only needed to pick up the main book. So yes, price is a big deal for me. It's why i dropped justice league because of the price and lack of quality. Heck i picked up wonder woman instead because i felt it was the better bargain (quality and price wise) and i stand by that. I love comics with all my heart and will continue to support it until otherwise. But in the end, if dc starts charging me more, i may not be able to keep up with them anymore. And that makes me very sad.
September 26, 2012 7:24 pm I know, right? Basically, he's fighting the worst of humanity turned into a glittering diamond of evil.
September 26, 2012 1:42 pm I'm so sick of hearing how people think that Barry just left those people there. He didn't. He couldn't save them because if he did he could accidentally rip new holes in space and suck in and destroy other lives (even civilizations) from across time. That's basically what turbine did!
September 26, 2012 1:36 pm I really like these remake and reboot series of articles. I wish there was a separate one for how to save failing series or ones that seriously need a kick in the butt. Or how about ones for series based around underused characters? Never say never!
September 26, 2012 1:30 pm i disagree with your opinion of superman's rogue gallery. I feel while they are not in the same league as batman's, spider-man's, and the flash, they are hardly the worst group, they just need better representation. But i see plenty of potential. Superman's rogues (or at least my personal favorites) The Big Three Lex Luthor, Brainiac, General Zod The Classic Rogues Metallo, Parasite, Bizarro, The Kryptonite Man, Toyman, The Prankster New Blood Livewire, Luminous, Silver Banshee, Manchester Black The Wild Card Mr. Mr. Mxyzptlk All of these guys are visually interesting, everyone of them has a story behind them. Now if only we can get somebody who understands this and we'll be in business.
September 14, 2012 11:52 am Actually, i think he has written him. He was a main part of the year long 52 series and Morrison was one of the few writers who worked on that series. So i think he receives partial credit for that. But dear god yes! DC, we need an Adam Strange comic to fill that fear agent sized hole in our hearts. You better get crackin'!
