January 4, 2012 4:36 pm Artists deserve payment for the art that they create. Consider your average artist takes about a day to pencil a page, some go faster, but that’s pretty standard. The Walking Dead is currently at issue #88. 22 pages a book, let’s do the math, that’s 1936 days of work. 5+ years. That’s JUST the artist, not the writer, not the inker. You claim to enjoy the book, why not value the time/effort and creativity of the person who created it? October 7, 2011 5:08 pm A) Voodoo is an Alien, some sort of shape shifter. In the beginning she's posing as a stripper to learn about human males, and yes she has :gasp: boobs! Most strippers do. B) She's seems to be on the run from from some sort of government agency. C) She has no qualms about killing, and comes off as disconnected from emotions, almost alien... Why is she here? Why does she need to learn about humans? Why is she on the run? All questions that will presumably be answered. Hey! I looked past the boobs and found a story, but then I'm also not an uptight prude. For the record, my wife quite enjoyed this one too.

September 22, 2011 3:44 pm Yeah, I think the real issue here was that this was in NO WAY a #1 issue, there was nothing to bring in new readers, or, hell even explain what the Legion IS. Such an odd editorial choice, a chance blown I'd say.

If that's not trolling I don't know what is. I think you're missing my point, which was "In a month that’s all about new stuff, why not try this?" and further "I will READ it first, then form an opinion." I disagree with your point that Hughes did a great job of showcasing her sexuality while maintaining her strength. I loved his covers, but there's nothing particularily "strong" about unzipping a leather suit. I maintain that I don't see a difference between this style and that. But you're right, it IS your perogative to judge a book by it's cover, and I suppose it's your perogative to condescend to me "Fanboy".
