What’s up with the Futurama sketches? Is it the anniversary or something?
me like x-23 sketch
@Xeno – Comic TwArt selects a new subject to draw each week. I think Tom Fowler was in the mood to sketch some Futurama this time around.
@Xeno- it’s the latest topic on comic twart
Lots of good ones this week. Always good to see some Bruce Timm art. I really like the Shalvey Lady Bullseye and the Manapul Nightcrawler. Plus, “Robots, not as smart as we think” gave me a good laugh when I first saw it yesterday.
Love the X-23 and Weapon X pieces.
Love both the Futurama pieces.
Loving the Futurama and X-23.
There’s not a single person on this website that I wouldn’t murder for Fowler’s Futurama, and you know what? I love you guys, so don’t think that’s an easy call.
The Dean Trippe sketch was from Austin Comic Con this last weekend. It was my first con and I got my first sketch from Dean. Nicest guy ever. Can’t wait for his new projects to come out.
Cool Futurama art. Always good to see.
Love both the Futurama sketches. Asrar’s Weapon X is the tits. And Bruce Timm’s X23 is the only time I’ve ever looked at her and thought "Cool."
These are all good but are they as good as these-?

mmm, bruce timm
but the futurama sketches are a little weird IMO
Oooh, I love that Manapul sketch just as I love everything by Manapul that I have ever, ever seen. He’s not of this world.
I choose death by snoo snoo….
Nice Futurama sketches.
Futurama?? Does not fem-pute!
Hands down Weapon X is the best of the bunch.Okay you can keep your hands up if you want.
Weapon X & X-23 are jaw-dropping AMAZING!!!!
@kirkerson I was there, too. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t pick up something from Trippe, but I think when I get some money I’m gonna throw a commission his way. He had a lot of great stuff at his table. For that matter, there were a lot of great artists there. I found myself hovering around Shane Henderson’s and Wade Acuff’s spots; got a lot of stuff from them.
@kirkerson Seriously man, I’m honored to have drawn your first con sketch. See you at the next one! 🙂
@neums Thanks, dude! If you’re in Austin, I can do one for you at Austin Books anytime. Just lemme know.
Dean Trippe is a stand up dude.
@dean Next time I’m up there, I’ll do that (I’m down in Corpus, but I have a couple of friends who live up there.). Actually, I think my friend George may have gotten something off of you. But he got something off of pretty much every artist. He was getting a lot of Amy Pond and Columbia (from Rocky Horror) commissions over the weekend.
Tom Fowler’s art is creepy.
