March 25, 2011 12:21 am Thanks, powerdad. Don't worry about trying to get DC to do it. That ship's sailed as far as I'm concerned. They're welcome to use their creators do try something like this, and I think that'd be a good idea, but I'm on to the next thing. I don't really mean this to sound as harsh/cocky as it does, but the simple fact is, I'm not going to keep hoping the decision-making guys who can't make good comics will realize I can.
January 13, 2011 12:34 am @DarkKnightJared  No, this is Roberson's first issue. JMS didn't write it. And it was awesome. Reminded me of Phil Hester's first issue of Wonder Woman. The clean-up crew is here.
January 13, 2011 12:32 am a. JMS didn't write this issue. Chris Roberson did.

b. In Grounded, Superman has been acting completely out of character, BUT NOW IT'S A PLOT POINT.

c. I agree, Lois was drawn in a ridiculous outfit, but her character was 100% right. She cared about Superman, the town, and above all, THE TRUTH. (Btw, the conflict where she and Superman were both "not wrong" is often how legitimate disagreements between couples occur.)

d. There ARE towns where one plant is the main employer. Your ranting to the contrary is nonsensical and irrelevant.

e. Again, THE SUPERMAN SQUAD, LOIS LANE, and the MYSTERIOUS MS. JENNINGS ALL PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT SUPERMAN IS ACTING COMPLETELY OUT OF CHARACTER, FOR SOME REASON TO BE EXPLAINED NEXT ISSUE.

f. This review shows a serious lack of critical thought and rational analysis. I suggest reading the issue again, more slowly.
January 13, 2011 12:22 am So the fact that superpeople from the future show up to tell Superman he's acting completely out of character (perhaps for a reason!) didn't stand out to you?

Lois is thinking clearly, and Superman isn't. Plus, you've got the ominous lady from the earlier Grounded issues stalking Supes, pleased at his moral confusion. I mean, it's all right there in the book, man.

This review sounds like it was written by someone who skimmed the book, rather than read it.
January 7, 2011 5:02 pm Thanks for including mine, guys! You've got me in some excellent company here. Great work, everyone! :)
