August 26, 2013 5:58 pm Everything I've seen online says that the Glenn figure doesn't come out until January. Series 4, which is coming out around now, is Governor, Andrea, Carl and the usual walkers. January is Series 5 and Glenn, Maggie, Walker Merle and 2 other walkers.
August 5, 2013 1:20 pm You apparently didn't understand what the article was about. It wasn't about collecting and displaying. It's about the use of the phrase "shelf porn" to describe your pictures of it. I have a 2nd bedroom in my apartment that's my collection and display room, and I'm damn proud of my collection. I'd never, ever, refer to it as "shelf porn." I've had fellow nerds see it in person and compliment it. One guy went so far as to say "Man, you're a f--kin' nerd....I love it!"
August 5, 2013 1:16 pm Hey hey! We won't have that here. You go to Germany for that type of thing!
July 14, 2013 2:39 pm @KillTheG1mp " re-watching Tobey now makes me realize how pathetic and “awkward” his Peter Parker was, he was, basically, a sad-sack… " THAT'S THE POINT! That's Peter Parker. Not Garfield's smart-ass skater who also happens to have a genius IQ.
July 12, 2013 8:29 pm I can see the parallels to the House of M costume, but still not seeing the Reilly. The red didn't taper to a point on the torso in Reilly's costume; the whole torso was red with webs and emblem that mirrored itself on front and back with the shoulders tapered, kind of like it was a short-sleeved t-shirt with full blue on the arms and hands with the exception of the fingers.
July 12, 2013 8:25 pm I thought the credits page in Young Avengers was pretty good, too, though it doesn't really qualify as "art" in the way these panels are.
July 12, 2013 1:53 pm @CaseyJustice and @hanson724 agree with both of you. I really didn't like ASM and I hope they can do a better job with ASM2. I think the funniest part is that the "untold story" they'd been hyping online and on posters for months and months got cut out of the final product because it didn't test well. That's why it ended up a jumbled mess with many a dangling plot thread. Also, the characterization of Peter is terrible, and I hope it's better this time around. Maguire probably wasn't the best choice for Peter in the Raimi trilogy, but he's still far superior to Garfield.
July 12, 2013 1:48 pm How was it Ben Reilly-ish? Because it wasn't in the least.
July 12, 2013 1:47 pm Amen to that. Hasbro actually has an action figure out that spells it incorrectly, too. Iron Patriot (pre-IM3, obviously).
July 6, 2013 3:23 am I liked that set where Shocker convinced Speed Demon to run all the way back to Manhattan just to get the keys to Boomerang's place, gets back with smoking feet and complaining about the traffic ("Man, the BQE..."), only for Shocker to open the door and go "Oh, it's unlocked!"
