It’s really simple: This is a solid, maybe you can/wanna call it classic, Batman Story. Nothing here is really new…

Athough i like the overall story of the book, i was a little disappointed by this issue. Maybe it’s because…

February 22, 2012 5:57 am I liked the story so far, but i agree with people saying that the story needs to get going. an arc with the new scorpion as main villain would be nice, even i'm not sure if i like the way he looks. samnee is good, but his art was to shadow heavy and i would've liked picelli to draw miles for longer to establish his look and the look of the book, just as bagley did.
February 15, 2012 5:57 pm Depends on how your looking at it. In the last weeks Severed (496), TWD (456), Fatale (652), Thief of Thieves (481) and Chew (422) got (way) more pulls. But these are books with bigger creative teams and/or books which ran much longer and earned a solid fanbase due to their quality. So i would say for a new series without a big name and peter pan at WWII its pretty good.
February 15, 2012 12:32 pm I agree, a classic in the making. For a few moments i had doubts, when batman started fighting back i thought snyder may thinks he punished him long enough, but i'm glad the suffering continues (insert evil, sadictic laughter here). Seriously, this is my favourite batman since a long time ( not counting black mirror) and now the court is a real threat which will not be defeated in 1-2 issues i am really sold on the upcoming crossover. capullo is doing a great job also, the worn out batman is looking absolutely fantastuc.
February 15, 2012 11:49 am Just finished the issue minutes ago and i totally agree: this is a classic run in the making (or if you include black mirror it already is). the court of owls is as creepy as it gets and even got creepier now that we have seen it. i wasn't much of a capullo fan before, but his worn down batman looks amazing. this won my pick of the week easily and that means something, when you go against daredevil.

February 14, 2012 8:11 am Light week, only Batman #6 and Daredevil #9.
February 8, 2012 5:50 pm Wow, this is definitly the good Romita and the best i've seen him in a long time.
February 2, 2012 6:52 am If this issue doesn't do it for me, i will be down to three bat-books (batman, batman & robin, batwoman) and i doubt it will. i liked the first issues, but looking back i think i got distracted by the good art of daniels. so the back up in issue five killed the last interest and i only read #6 because i ordered it at my lcs.
February 1, 2012 10:43 am I have doubts but with this impressive list of creators it is impossible to not be interested.
January 12, 2012 6:32 pm I gotta admit that my first reaction also was "no, leave daredevil alone" . then i thought about it (and read the article - good work as always) and told myself "its Rucka on Punisher" and that calmed me down a lot. now i'm looking forward and am only a little bit nervous :D
