Unlike Batman, I find that I am not sick and tired of owls.

This issue pays off last month’s impressively. The Court of Owls truly is rising as a worthy opponent for Batman, if Snyder can keep this up. If.

There’s no more metafiction games here. No more rotating the book or losing your way in its pages. Batman’s still delirious, and not all that he sees can be trusted. Capulo gets to work with that.

By now it’s not news that the Court of Owls will be spreading throughout the Bat-family titles this year. Before this issue I wasn’t sold on the idea that Batman would need help. Now I am.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. I agree, a classic in the making. For a few moments i had doubts, when batman started fighting back i thought snyder may thinks he punished him long enough, but i’m glad the suffering continues (insert evil, sadictic laughter here). Seriously, this is my favourite batman since a long time ( not counting black mirror) and now the court is a real threat which will not be defeated in 1-2 issues i am really sold on the upcoming crossover.
capullo is doing a great job also, the worn out batman is looking absolutely fantastuc.
