I almost forgot about Superior, but the first 4 issues where good enough to come back, at least for the last 2 issues of Book 1. Millar nails the "what if Superman was a child and does what really needs to be done" approach of the book. There are'nt much characters beside Superior that get much attention, but thats okay as long Superior is that well written. The story is divided in three parts. First Superior gets into Afghanistan and wipes out the Taliban within a few minutes and without killing anyone. The second part is him doing all the stuff a kid could want with Millar achieving a good amount of real world flaovour by including the NY Nicks etc. before he strips Superior from his powers and revealing that the ape that gave him the key to the seven day funride is the devil himself and he wants his soul, otherwise he gets back into the wheelchair. The last part surprised me more than it should have, and even if its not the most innovative twist, it works well enough for me, because i didn't expect innovation from the book in the first place. on the downside this book feels a bit rushed. Espeacially the part at Afghanistan and i while i read #5 i thought "oh, he really tries to fit this into 6 parts, so he can put it out as a trade". Besides that, Superior #6 was a good read and i#m looking forward to the last issue.
(Note: not only was this my first review at ifanboy, but i'm also from germany, so my english maybe isn't that great. feel free to correct me, but have mercy... )

Your use of English is better than most native speakers can manage. Don’t worry.
Glad to see this book is good. Going to have to go back and grab the rest of the series.
It is definitly a good book and if Millar doesn’t screws it up in the end it will rank under the Top 5 of my Millar work (which also includes Ultimates, American Jesus, 1985 and Enemy of the state). But with only one issue remaining i am a bit afraid there are not enough pages left to tell the outcome with all the parts i expect in a way it deserves it. late October we will know.
Well written review, I had no problems understanding you. Note that the last issue is a double, so we’re actually getting two issues worth of story to wrap it up.
Three actually, since there will be seven issues, with the seventh being double-sized.
