Pick of the Week #371 – Punisher: War Zone #4
February 4, 2013 7:40 am I can't remember who talked about Invincible #100, but I gotta say, if you think Invincible is getting "long in the tooth", I really hope you feel the same way about 'The Walking Dead', because 'TWD' suffers from that A LOT more than 'Invincible'.
That said, I see #100 having set up a lot of new stuff in 'Invincible', even stuff that's been done before but will be very different this time because of how different the characters are from before.

JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #648
January 29, 2013 11:49 am The first issue (646) is a bit confusing. It took me two reads plus reading some reviews to figure out what exactly was going on.

REVIVAL #6
January 24, 2013 5:16 pm Might just be the colorist trying to differentiate between the Hmong and the Caucasians. I personally don't see much difference in skin tone between the Hmong in Merrill and Wausau (live in Merrill) and the Caucasians, but I honestly was never paying close attention anyway.

DARK AVENGERS #185
January 17, 2013 10:55 am Agreed. I find no interest in characters who are spin-offs of other characters who are still actually active.

GUARDING THE GLOBE #5
January 12, 2013 7:13 am Great writing, great artwork, great characters who develop and are interesting, lasting ramifications to things that happen in the comic, action, surprises, drama, consistency, the Invincible universe... I have zero to complain about from this comic.
Other superhero team books should take notes, this is how it should be done.
