This was complete, unfettered cosmic awesomeness! The art alone was worth the money. Regarding the writing, there were more HOLY CRAP moments than I could count. These guys haven't let me down yet on an event, Marvel should sh*tcan the rest of their entire line, clone A&L and put out more of this stuff.

February 25, 2009 9:45 pm Good a place as any to pick this up, Tiocore. This is a really fun series, feels like books from the seventies. It's good, old-fashioned Cosmic Superheroics!

I'm enjoying this. The inclusion and depiction of the Avengers has been horrible, to be sure, but I'm really liking the Invaders characterizations in this series. I think the writing and art have been doing the Invaders justice.

Marvel should put out an Invaders series and be done with it! Invaders Namor, Cap, and Torch would be great month to month.

Last issue picked it up a notch, I was getting antsy. Where Blastaar goes so shall I!

ALL HAIL BLASTAAR!!!!!

December 31, 2008 12:35 pm I've stuck with FF through thick and thin. This last arc was the best since Waid left the title.

With the exception of issue #2 and the Iron Man fight, this whole series has been filler. Beautiful, well written, filler. JMS is pulling the usual so far. I love Thor in general, and, as I said, the art and writing are outstanding, but I'm dying for something to HAPPEN.

Come on JMS, haven't you learned your lesson from AMS and Squadron Supreme? Get on with the story already! The eye candy is too much to resist and my wallet hurts. HELP ME!

I just dropped this title after sticking with it for 47 issues. Based on these glowing reviews I suppose I will be drawn back in for the moment. However, if by issue 50 I still don't care about what is happening the Bendis-stink will finally push me away.

The "dingo ate my baby" storyline is crap BTW. Spare us, Mr. Bendis.

Does anyone know if Gary Frank will be collaborating with Johns in the near future on Action? When is their run on Action going to end (hopefully NOT ending)? I ntbeatever followed Supes until Frank started working on Action. Great stuff, instant classic run. Foolish not to keep it going on DC's part.

Supes in space sounds good to me, provided Johns and Frank are still in the mix, but I will drop Action in a heartbeat if Superman, Johns, or Frank leave the title. Need all three to stay interested.

A Living Tribunal/Punisher team-up is loooooong overdue! It's what this industry needs right now.

I really felt let down by the series iself in this case. I normally love Casey's work, but this story took an awful long time to develop, and the payoff was a little weak in my opinion. Basically a new team emerges, and that's it.

I tried to like the art, but in the end I felt it didn't suit the book.
