May 12, 2009 11:08 am now I feel like a dope for actually enjoying this book.  maybe I'm just not thinking about it hard enough, I do sort of detach when I read some things for the sake of not going crazy.

@Rustyautoparts -

i don't know that it will pay off anymore, the weird thing about the original prophecy is that it also had Mogo being killed by Ranx, and Sodom Yat blew Ranx to hell so I kind of viewed that as things being amiss with the actual prophecy.  Kind of why Sinestro getting the Green Lanterns to kill was actually so important, because its made the prophecy defunct just a bit...you know, unless Ranx is a Black Lantern now too in which case just forget what I said.

AWWW YEAH TITANS!

this book makes me happy.  :)

March 20, 2009 11:16 am @mikeandzod - I think thats the main thing that got me about it.  I get that we were watching a lot of time go by, but something about the whole issue just felt gratuitous.  If anything, I've come to expect INVINCIBLE to be well thought out in the past, but this just seemed like a lot of flash that was somewhat unsatisfying.
March 18, 2009 1:20 pm um...I'm really bummed out by this issue.  /spoiler = if Atom Eve is dead I'm dropping this book, its just so 'women in refrigerators' to kill a love interest, its the biggest comic cliche. if Kirkman really wants to be original and interesting, show us a relationship that works for once.

I hate hate hate hate Mongul.  I think that's what I'm supposed to feel but I really want Sinestro to just obliterate him.  I just think he's had a good run and its time for him to be a non-factor.  I cheered inside when we thought he was dead on the black mercy planet.

I feel like the way Tomasi write the star sapphires is a bit of a departure from Geoff Johns interpretation, I really like the way Miri (I think that's her name) is a very interesting character.  I hope that the way that corps goes follows that thread as opposed to the vibe I got off them when Carol Ferris gets re-recruited in the Origins and Omens fo the last issue of GL.

I'm bummed to see it go too, I only got into it about a year ago :(

hmmm, I love both Green Lantern and GLC, but what's been so fun about GLC is the group dynamic we get. Green Lantern is a Hal book and I like Hal, but I really really like all the different folks they've made in GLC.

Man I hope they don't kill them all in Blackest night lol.

@stuclach - I didn't even put that together with the children.  I just thought they were odd Sinestro Corps members.  thats a neat interpretation though.  I actually really like the way they're doing the Star Sapphire character, she's really intriguing for some reason.

February 11, 2009 4:38 pm that was a great great issue for sure.  spoiler - the black hand on the ground with all the different color paint cans was a striking image.  looks like we might get Jade back as a black lantern.
