After Loeb’s Ultimates 3 and his Ultimatum storyline, I honestly believed he had nearly come close to entirely destroying everything…

Pretty much what TNC said.

This book is consistantly amazing, even though I don't tend to recall what may have happened in the last issues from time to time.

But this issue was just excellent on all fronts.  The writing was on point and you get introduced to Tony's quirky family in such a fun way along with the stunning art, filling each and every panel to the brim with little jokes and details.

The beginning panels with Savoy were simply amazing too.

Great series, great fun, 5/5.

I'm surprised at everyone's disdain for the book and this issue.

This is easily my most favorite team book out right now and I'm reading most of them.

I also thought this issue was excellent and that the death itself was handled very well.  I'm on the love train for this book and can't wait to see where it heads from here.

Not silly in the least.  My interest in the book had waned, but ever since Capullo jumped on I've been really enjoying the series.

I'd much rather Capullo remained as the artist for the remainder of the series.  I think the style compliments the book.

Agreed, this is easily shaping up to be my favorite arc of the series thus far.

Frazier's art gives the whole story a bunch of wonderful tones and the story has been flowing at a wonderful pace.

Joker & Damian really do steal the show.  The fact that Damian is hardly the ideal Boy Wonder, even straying a lot further than some of the "disturbed childhoods" some of the kids have had is a great contrast for Joker, who is in on everything.

So many characters are playing together and the stakes are high and I'm loving each and every moment of it.

So glad I stuck with this book and I'm definitely sticking around to see where it heads from here.

This issue was all over the place.  Not a fan of the rehash Daredevil . . . there is nothing different about him.

I loved the first arc of Ultimate Avengers, second arc was alright, but I dunno if I'll be able to stick through this one.

The first issue didn't do much for me, sadly.  I'm gonna have to pass on this one.

But these pages do look nice.

June 7, 2010 5:42 pm I'm no designer, but I'm really not diggin' that logo for the series.  The shared "A" and the fact that Avengers is slanted, while Academy isn't is really buggin' me.

My LCS didn't get this in this week.

Considering this and iZombie were my only pulls this week, I left my shop one sad little fellow.

Well, Enemy is it's own thing.  Two event/series will follow it that all tie together into one big story.

I have been loving this and almost everything Ultimate related post-Ultimatum.  They are fixing things and rebuilding this world and doing a great job at it.

I also love Sandoval.  If he doesn't go on to Ultimate Spidey, he definitely needs his own Ultimate series.
