Looks really good, enjoyed the first one and I’m totally looking forward to the follow up.
Am I having a stroke or do the second and third images (top right, bottom left) look like they were done by a different inker?
I’m not buying Avengers, New Avengers or Secret Avengers in issue. Whether or not I support those books in single issue format, I will still see a long run of issues.
I’m supporting:
Hawkeye & Mockingbird, Atlas and Avengers Academy.
I want to see these creators get to tell their stories.
I advise that folks here do the same.
Otherwise we will have some more S.W.O.R.D., Captain Britian type bitching down the line.
The first issue didn’t do much for me, sadly. I’m gonna have to pass on this one.
But these pages do look nice.
The first one was okay, but it made me wonder what’s next. So, yeah.
Does ‘Bird alternate between two costumes or is that a flashback?

Wow, way to wrap up the cliffhanger from issue one in the previews, Marvel! Still, I understand why they want this out immediately. Gotta keep that good flavor on our minds to avoid another SWORD scenario.

Forgot about picking up the 1st issue this past Thursday but i’ll be picking up the reprint along with issue 2. Never read anything by Jim McCann and i’m interested in the character Hawkeye.
I really wanted to like issue number one but I came away very "meh". On the fence about giving it another chance.
