  1. This series has slowed down, spending the last few issues on Jepherd’s death wish. Hopefully shifing the focus to Gus for an issue will help the pass. I’m ready for "Captivity" to be over.

I love the cover though, pure David Lynch madness.

  2. It’s starting to slow down, but I’m still enjoying it.

I hope there is more Gus then Jepperd in this though. I’m sorry but that storyline with him is getting old now.

  3. I’m with you guys. Jepperd’s part of this story arc has clearly run its course. Hopefully this issue will advance Gus’ story and set us up for a fresh story arc.

  4. I respectfully disagree.  The last two issues have been my favorite of the series thus far.

  5. I hope we can move beyond the Jeppard flashbacks with this issue and actually focus on Sweet Tooth!

  6. I forget that I love this book until I read it.

  7. I feel like this series is going strong. Jepperd’s back-story has been interesting while the over-all story is still progressing.

  8. I’m enjoying the flashbacks and I have a good feeling they will be very insightful over the long-run of this book.

  9. Yeah I really can’t think of a negative thing to say about any of the issues thus far, always a homerun for me

  10. I’m really loving Captivity at the moment,. #6 still remains to be the best single issue I’ve read this year.

  11. @OnASunday: I know what you mean.

  12. @kmob181: I agree.  I think Jeppard is a more interesting character than Gus and I enjoy the sharp contrast between the two.

  13. Jeppard’s gotta have a change of heart & come back.  C’mon, he’s the only one that actually calls Gus "Sweet Tooth".

  14. awesome issue! With some glimpses of answers and a really cool change of pace.

  15. Great issue!  Definetly the best in this arc.  Love the idea of Gus’ father as a prophet. One more reason why I couldnt handle waiting for the trade on this series.

  16. @AlanRob – Agreed.  This is slow building, but I want to know what’s going on too much to wait.

  17. Best looking issue to date. Maybe not the best issue overall, but Lemire is just killing it with the art. The surrealism, the panel layouts, the unqiue designs; everything is working here.

The story is still moving slow but looking at that two page spread of Gus/Singh walking on the head of Gus…..that made me ignore my qualms about the series previously. POTW material here.

  18. My LCS didn’t get this in this week.

Considering this and iZombie were my only pulls this week, I left my shop one sad little fellow.

  19. Easily the best issue yet…and creepy as fuck

  20. Brilliant as always, it’s between this and walking dead as the best monthly I’m reading! I feel like I pick this every week it comes out!
    Spoiler!

The new religious twist could turn out to be very interesting

  21. @silentburn… Yeah my LCS didn’t get this either. It was the book I was most looking forward to this week too!

  22. @silentburn @ButchCassidy same here.  What’s up with that?  Hopefully next week…

  23. My shop didn’t get any 🙁

  24. Things are picking up again!

    who’s down for a roadtrip?

  25. 5/5. POTW. Best issue yet.
