CHEW #15

“JUST DESSERTS,” Conclusion

It’s the final chapter of “Just Desserts” and the biggest story in CHEW history, figuratively and literally. As we reach the one-quarter mark of the CHEW run, the last remaining major characters are introduced and an event transpires that is so shocking and unexpected it changes the book forever, fundamentally and irrevocably.

And, as a special sloppy, wet kiss to everyone who has supported the book and helped it succeed beyond our wildest expectations: CHEW #15 is bonus-sized, with more story pages and a special TRI-FOLD POSTER COVER, at no extra cost.

Don’t trade-wait on this one, folks!

  1. finally, the lateness was killin me

  2. It’s barely late.

  3. I LOOOOVE this book!!

  4. Late but oversized. Good trade-off to me. I’d love this book even if it came out 4 times a year.

  5. @Evangelion11 – Chillout, it’s not that late.

  6. The trifold cover for this makes for an awsome desktop background.  http://chewcomic.blogspot.com/2010/10/chew-15-tri-fold-poster-cover-revealed.html

  7. Headline in todays’s Washington Post: "New Russian Ban on Chicken Confounds Producers".

  8. @Bendrix……but a month is too long as it is to wait

  9. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

  10. While browsing a book store, noticed the Omnivore HC – a la Walking Dead I’m hooked… but if I had an iPad I’d get the monthlies…

  11. @Evangelion:  That’s another topic. Could be weekly for all I care.

  12. Oh this was amazing to read. Truly some hilarious stuff in this issue and Guillory continues to knock it out of the ballpark with his artwork. Easily still the best comic book on the stands.

    5/5 (POTW)

  13. Pretty much what TNC said.

This book is consistantly amazing, even though I don’t tend to recall what may have happened in the last issues from time to time.

But this issue was just excellent on all fronts.  The writing was on point and you get introduced to Tony’s quirky family in such a fun way along with the stunning art, filling each and every panel to the brim with little jokes and details.

The beginning panels with Savoy were simply amazing too.

    Great series, great fun, 5/5.

  14. This is becoming like Scalped. When it comes time to make my POTW and either of those books is out, it’s almost unfair. So so good

  15. goddamn this series is too good. I did think it ended pretty abruptly though, it felt more like the beginning of a new arc then the end of one.
