September 23, 2010 6:24 pm @Preacher - If I recall correctly, most will be Batman/Superman because they sell, but there was some talk about trying to do a Flash animated film to round off the rest of the big 5 (since Wonder Woman and Green Lantern have gotten their animated films).

August 11, 2010 10:01 am I am just going to point out that JMS made a comment at comic con that the whole Superman grounded arc was not the reason he wanted to get his hands on the book so badly all these years. Whatever story he has been excited to tell is coming as soon as Superman is done walking.

@Prax It looks like the hardcover ships the next week, might as well skip issue 6. 

This looks like it is one of Gary Frank's alternate covers from that series. I am really interested to see where JMS takes this after the War of Supermen stuff all wrapped up. His take on Wonderwoman should be worth checking out as well. 

April 26, 2010 7:32 pm @MikeFarley: The book was put on indefinite hiatus because Jon Favreau (the director of the Iron Man movies) was writing it and as far as I know he did not have time in his schedule with all the movies to write it. Last I heard he was still planning to finish at some point, but some people did not like where he was taking things with Fing Fang Foom.

I haven't been following all of the episodes, but from what I can gather Clark recently destroyed a ray meant to turn the sun red so that Zod and the other Kryptonians could gain their powers, and turn Clark back to normal. Why do Zod and co. not gain their powers under the yellow son (as they did in all other instances including WONK in the comics)? 

July 3, 2009 10:28 am As for madam mask, there was a brief moment when I confused her with a very similar character that appeared in one of the later episodes of the Batman animated series from the 90's (after the stylistic change).  I had to remind myself that she has to be different since that is DC.

July 3, 2009 10:26 am This is a great series. I actually love Larroca's art- much more so than some of the art in Dark Avengers or Messiah War.
