All the runs on Runaways were way better than Moore's last run in my opinion. Nothing really happened there.
Deadpool is much more funnier than Captain Britain in my opinion. And this is serious because fun should be a main element of Captain Britain, and it's done very very good in Deadpool.
Probably the reason you people love CB is because of the characterization, and for that, I'm sorry it's gone (didn't impress me tough in the single issue I read-Issue 10).
The best review I've read so far Conor. It reminds me why I love the Batman family so much.
The problem is that I feel more from reading your review than from reading the actual book. I think Tony Daniel has good ideas, but decent ideas doesn't make you a great writer. It's all about the details.
This story could be done so much better. It could be done so I could really wonder every minute who is going to be Batman, and how's that going to affect Gotham.
This story could be a masterpiece we could remember for a long time. Sadly, it isn't. It is a good story, but I need more. I need big scenes, I need suspense, I feel like everything about this story should be polished.
Love the characters, any artist who can draw decent is good for me, but I hate Terry Moore.
He does kids stories, not even teenagers stories how Runaways started. Oh boy those were really good times with Vaughan writing them. Hell I liked any other artist on Runaways. But Terry Moore is killing the characters, not especially because it looks like it's written for kids, but IT'S DAMN BORING. NOTHING HAPPENS WITH THE CHARACTERS.
I am still reading this because of the characters and because it has sometimes fun moments.
