Someone stop the madness! I'm still waiting for them to announce a re-numbering or re-launching for Mighty Avengers, and maybe an ongoing Young Avengers. Then, while they're at it, they might as well announce the "Not-So-Secret Avengers". I mean, there can never be enough Avengers books right?! Oh...wait.

Seriously though, with every additional Avengers book announced my excitement level for the whole thing just plumets.

February 19, 2010 5:50 pm I am really liking Blackest Night and Siege, but after they wrap up I could easily go a year or more without a new event coming out or even announced and I'd be peachy. It seems like since I got back into comics (right before the start of House of M and the Countdown to Infinite Crisis stuff) that since then books have been just building up from one event to the next, and that does get tiring. I don't mind spending time in a status quo for at least a little while before things are "shaken up" again. Bottom line, give me an event from Marvel and DC every couple years and I'm happier than one leading right into the next, but that's me :)

February 15, 2010 2:40 pm Really looking forward to both of these, more so the Spidey/Wolverine book. I really like Ellis as a writer (for the most part) but I've found his previous/current Astonishing X-Men arcs to be pretty bad. The art hasn't helped, but still..I think this book will be well-served by a re-start, I'm just leary that they have another artist who's style I just don't like. I hope Ellis can do better this time around.

Oh gee a second Avengers book. Can't say I'm not surprised, just disappointed :P Luckily for Marvel with Brubaker writing it, I'll at least check out the first arc. I was really hoping they'd settle on one Avengers book again...
