June 8, 2013 12:05 pm I only comment occasionally on the site, but Astro City #1 has inspired me to actually log in. I'm one of those folks who read Astro CIty from the get go. This issue was brilliant. It maintained the feel of the original series and neither creator has missed a beat. This is one of the few books that could double or even triple ship each month and I would still want more. Is this my new favorite comic or did my old favorite comic wake up from a nap? Who cares. Welcome back. Welcome back. Welcome back.
March 15, 2012 12:46 am This was a great issue. I was a little underwhelmed by the first issue, but this issue put all of my doubts to rest. Great story, great art. 5.0
March 2, 2012 3:29 pm Would it be possible for you three to take video while you're doing the weekly podcast? Then you could maybe cut in some shots of the comics or creators you're talking about. Since you guys read so many more comics than I do, seeing the art while you comment on it, could really expand my comic book horizons. That's what I always liked most about the video shows.

September 28, 2011 9:04 pm My favorite writer. One of my top five favorite artists. My favorite character, starring in an X-book, which has always been my favorite line of books. I'm giddy. Seriously, I need to shower. This is just too cool. I hope Jean does come back now and I hope she shacks up with Logan.
September 25, 2011 10:39 pm Love love love this series. I was lucky enough to have one of the ladies at my LCS recommend this series when the first issue came out.
August 26, 2011 1:02 pm It's easy to fall into the Marvel/DC rut. They offer a lot of product with familiar characters, while the rest of the store is filled with the unfamiliar. It's like being in a foreign country where the food sucks and then in the distance you see the promising yellow glow of a McDonald's sign. The Big Mac didn't suddenly taste better, it's just that you know exactly what you're getting when you order. Luckily, between this podcast, and others, especially Eleven O'Clock Comics, I get a lot of recommendations on what's out there. I still read a ton from the big two, but they don't completely control my comic buying dollar either.
August 25, 2011 10:41 am As good as this looks and as sad as I am that it wasn't picked up, I'm a little relieved. I think this deserves the big movie, big director, big star treatment. Fox has a habit to screw things like this up.
