May 6, 2008 1:55 pm @ohcaroline I agree completely. These forays into other side stories are interesting and help along the overall plot, but what I want is to resolve the issues of last issue as soon as possible. Looking forward to another Djurdjevic cover, he's always good.
May 6, 2008 1:53 pm I think it's a bit early to be releasing this. Right in the middle of the Skrull Invasion is not the best time to supposedly bring back the "old heroes" especially when the teams featured in it, like the New and Mighty Avengers are fighting Skrulls off somewhere. It would have been better to space these events farther apart. Yes, I am looking forward to them alot, but it's really gonna mess with my sense of time.
May 6, 2008 1:50 pm Whoa! This is only 3 parts? I thought for sure that BKV would make it longer. There are so many things that could've been done with this. Maybe he'll come back to write another one someday. It's been awesome so far, that's why I don't want it to end.
May 6, 2008 1:48 pm I am so confused by this so far (not in a bad way). The first issue left me guessing so much (it didn't help that there was a printing error in my issue) but I'm hoping this clears up some of the mystery.
May 6, 2008 1:46 pm By now, this has gotten to be bad. It has steadily declined from issue #1, but I have a commitment problem, and was determined to stay on until the end. Thank god this isn't an ongoing or even another issue longer. I've had just about enough, but I can't read the other 4 issues and not get the 5th.
May 1, 2008 1:56 pm Is this just going to be a ____ Saga, or a one-shot story? I really don't want to pay for a recap of past Thor moments.
May 1, 2008 1:54 pm I don't think alot of people have read New Warriors and still get this book. It's got fresh new characters, and Slott is doing a fantastic job writing it into the Marvel U while keeping it independent from most other books. Plus, now it's going to be a part of SI, so it'll probably gain some more importance and/or readers.
May 1, 2008 1:49 pm Oh, how I miss the rugged good-looking hair of Nick Fury. I wanted that style so much.
May 1, 2008 1:46 pm I saw the iFanboy twitter feed that said that Glamourpuss was 90% likely to be POW. I saw it and said, "oh Boy, those are big odds. Hope they're right." Sure enough, Glamourpuss #1!

This issue hasn't resolved any of the problems seen in the first issue, including the "electrodes to the testicles" thing, but I do like how he doesn't get killed again by a bunch of teenagers. He kicks some adult ass, and gets a fan base for it. Yet the video aspect makes me wonder just how it will progress.

And a word on JRJ's art: He draws people with an average of 16 gallons of blood in their body. Like Quentin Tarentino-style blood.
