October 9, 2016 7:38 pm Shade, The Changing Girl was my fave of the week. Hope you try it out.
June 5, 2016 10:57 pm Sorry, commenting as I listen. Even though I didn't like Tomasi's Final Days of Superman, I am WAY into him and Pat Gleason on Superman, cause their Batman+Robin comic did so well with the father/son dynamic, and that's what Superman has now, raising the new Superboy. I can see that fun arc where Damian got superpowers as a kind of test run :)
June 5, 2016 10:43 pm Batman took place over a week. Calendar Man had a machine for that. Also, every double shipping comic has two artists who swap every arc (or in Wonder Woman's case, every issue since it's going back and forth between arcs) Mikel Janin is the second artist on Batman. All the artist pairings were announced at that Rebirth conference.
April 12, 2016 2:34 am Rebirth Action Comics solicit, I meant.
April 12, 2016 2:33 am From the solicit, it sounds like N52 Superman will remain as civilian Clark Kent.
November 29, 2015 4:42 pm I loved the insane energy in DK2 and giving the new comic a contemporised setting and pretty bog-standard 2010s comic book art is a bit of a bummer. I do appreciate that it seems like almost every major character will be a woman. Who would've thunk that?
November 29, 2015 4:37 pm DK3 is eight issues. I just read DK2 in single issues and each of those was about 80 pages. This new one is WAY shorter. Maybe 30 pages before the minicomic, which is maybe my main complaint. For a Dark Knight issue it felt over before it started.
November 15, 2015 4:44 pm I was hoping to see Tom King and Doc Shaner's Darkseid War: Green Lantern up there. That was my book of the week by far. The Shazam one was good too. Much better than the Superman and Flash one-shots.
November 9, 2015 2:18 am Actually, that was written by Waid, so the set-up should also pay off in his Avengers book.
November 9, 2015 2:10 am In the recent Avengers #0 preview comic, Vision visited Wanda and decided to delete his emotional attachment and baggage to her.
