  1. In the recent Avengers #0 preview comic, Vision visited Wanda and decided to delete his emotional attachment and baggage to her.

  2. Congratulations on 10 years. I have been a listener since the first podcast, even for the few years when new family meant I didn’t have time or money for actual comics. I’ve learnt a lot from you over the years, and your different opinions and perspectives are always interesting and entertaining. Thank you for taking the time to do this every week.

  3. Thank you so much guys! I found the podcast back in 2013 just before Ron left. Ive been listening since then and I have gone back to listen to all the podcasts I missed (even the hard to find first 100ish episodes!). So ya, I havent been there 10 years but it feels like that!

This podcast reminded me how I love comics and even though I have a tight budget I am working on my personal trade collection now. I have learned so much from these shows.

    Thanks again!

  4. I am not understanding the love for the new Iron Man.
I think the same critique of the end of Bendis’ run on X-men can be applied here/
It feel like Bendis just took Iron Man out of the box and smashed him on the table a few times and said there- I did that.
I am not feeling the ‘fun’
It feels like very little care went into this reimagining- it feels like a How to write super hero comics exercise sheet.

  5. Huge congrats on the anniversary guys! it’s a real accomplishment to have lasted this long (and outlasted your competition #RIPAroundComics)

  6. Woo hoo confetti and balloon time. 10 years. I’ve listened to a bunch of your podcast and come back pretty much every week if time allows. I’m amazed that you can do this so regularly on schedule. Your dedication and love of the medium shows with each show, but I think your friendship for each other does as well.

  7. 10 years! Damn that’s dedication.

Have you found the 1 person who doesn’t know about the Force Awakens yet? Thanks for answering my question last week.

  8. 10 years of podcasting is a great achievement – well done!

I found the podcast in 2008 when I got into comics and have been listening ever since (including catching up on the episodes I missed). It’s now part of my weekly routine as every Monday morning I listen on my commute to work. Can’t start the week without it!

So thanks guys – here’s to the next 10 years!

  9. Congrats on 10 years guys! It’s a hell of an achievement.

I haven’t been listening quite since the first episode but I’m pretty sure I started listening within your first year. So, yeah, you’re certainly not the only ones that feel old!

And, yup, I didn’t read a single thing that you guys talked about this week but still, great show as always.

  10. Congrats on 10 years guys!

Also I’m a huge fan of the influx of Texas is the Reason since Ron’s been back.

  11. Congrats on making it ten years. When the show first started I didn’t have a smart phone so my brother would burn them on to a cd and I would listen on a big ass disc-man. Thanks for all entertainment over the years.

  12. Here’s to 10 more years!

I hope to witness your slow, inevitable descent into the Statler and Waldorf…and…Morrissey…of comic book punditry.

  13. Valiant’s Ninjak by Matt Kindt has been excellent! Yet I don’t think it’s been reviewed at all on iFanboy. This issue ended the arc, however the next arc titled “Operation Deadside” will include Shadowman and Master Darque, and has a lot of us really excited. I hope you guys will add it to your list of reviews!

  14. Congrats on ten years, guys! I haven’t listened since the beginning, but I have been listening since 2006 when I began reading comics and iFanboy and the Pick of the Week podcast is what helped me wade my way through the sea of comics and made them seem far less daunting a hobby in which to partake. My love and understanding of comics has a lot to do with you and your shows over the years. Thanks a bunch and here’s to ten more years!

  15. Thank you for doing it for 10 years. If you guys ever get tired of doing it please convince someone else to take up the mantle because I wouldn’t know what comics to buy and which ones to pass on if I didn’t listen to your show. To have a show that actually talks about writers and quality of story and art instead of the characters constantly has reawakened my love in comics and kept it going strong for years. thank you.

  16. I want to add my great thanks to you guys (and to Paul, and to everyone who’s contributed to your show) for all these years of wonderful entertainment and enlightenment. I remember the day I was reading a comic and saw a print ad for iFanboy with a thumbs up quote from Geoff Johns – and how I thought “well, if Geoff Johns says they’re cool, why don’t I give them a shot?” – so I guess I should thank Geoff Johns, too. The iFanboy podcast has really added to my life. I’m so grateful that you guys do what you do.

  17. Congratulations and thanks!

  18. Congratulations on ten years and thank you for all the entertainment, gentlemen. I love the show and always look forward to the Monday morning commute to see what you guys thought of the previous Wednesday’s books.

Speaking of which, did anyone else read Hercules #1? I thought it was pretty great. Hoping I’m not alone in that, so the book will have a shot at sticking around a while.

    • I read Herc #1 too! I really liked it, though I’m hoping for a little bit of the humor of Incredible Hercules. I know this book is going for redemption/something different but Herc’s sense of humor has always been my draw to the character.

  19. Question, did any of you guys pick up the book the Immonens put out earlier this year (I think it’s an ad house book)? Also, I agree that it’s going to be a big blow when Stuart undoubtedly moves on from Star Wars to newer pastures, he’s so damn good.

  20. 10 years! 10 YEEEEEARS!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWOnBWxNfYM

Way to go guys. I have been listening since 08/09? Somewhere in there. You guys have helped me take a more critical look at my favorite medium and I really appreciate that. Also, your weekly review list totally dictates what I read first and has pushed me to read a lot of books I wouldn’t otherwise have picked up.

Congratulations and here’s to another 10 (cue collective shudder from each of you)

Congrats on 10 years! I first found your show shortly after you started, when I was researching this “podcast” thing to start my own show — which will also be celebrating ten years in a few weeks! I’m the guy in Japan who complained about spoilers, haha.

I don’t think I ever listened to your first episode, but I started around episode 3 or 4 and have been listening since. At this point, it’s more about listening to you guys than it is about the comics. Here’s to another ten!

  22. As requested, I just wanted to drop a line and tank you guys for entertaining me for 10 years. You don’t know me, but you guys are my comic friends that keep a hobby that I love that much more enjoyable. Cheers, and here’s to 10 more, which would probably make all of us feel old.
    Many Thanks!
    Ian from Montreal!

  23. Congratulations on reaching 10 years. You have been entertaining me for the past 5 years so thank you for being part of my morning commute. I’ve especially enjoy going back and listening to old episodes. Just recently went back and listen to you cap and Bucky clowns on a train episode. Hilarious stuff.

My biggest issue with X-Men 600, where the hell did Cyclops get that Phoenix egg in secret wars #1! It was never explained in 600 so wtf marvel.

P.s. all marvel comics are suppose to take place 8 months after secret wars but I think they just announced it and don’t mention it in the books.
