Bio: Jonathan S.Have been reading comics since I could read. My Grandma would buy me Sonic the Hedgehog comics and I would read my dad's old marvel comics, mostly Captain America. Captain America is still probably my favorite superhero. My favorite Comic series so far is The Ultimates or Invincible.  I like all types of media- Books, Comics, TV, Movies, Videogames . . . etc. I also enjoy doodling and writing.   I started listening to iFanboy when I got my iPod ( october 07), it was one of the first Podcasts I found.  Ever since then I have spent a lot of money and free time on the reading and buying of comics.

It just wasn't a very tight issue, very average. The last issue by Loeb was sooo good, I just didn't think this one-shot/arc starter felt important enough. The revelation at the end should have been much more important, not to meniton this issue completely changed the world, literally.

 

SPOILER ALERT !!!!!!! FOLLOWING SPOILER FOLLOWING !!!!!!!!! now everybody on the planet knows about the supernatural creatures the slayers are trying to slay, and prefer them over the "good"guys.

January 13, 2009 11:47 pm A break up would be fine, that happens. But Whedon tends to kill a lot of characters, right when they become happy. So we probably don't want a "Whedon" to happen.

January 10, 2009 2:11 pm I don't think it is the art that is bad, it is average not great but not bad. The problem I have with it is that everyone looks like wax figures so I would blame the inking.

ANGEL AFTER THE FALL #15
December 16, 2008 10:43 pm I like the story, especially with the twist of Illyria "transformation" in the last issue but I CAN'T stand the art. I wouldn't be as harsh, but after reading the Buffy series, there is no excuse for the art. It is still on my pull list but I just don't love it like I should.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #20
December 16, 2008 10:40 pm w00t, BTVS animated series. I can't wait for this issue. The preview was fantastic. Plus, the cover with the scooby gang sitting in front of the TV is AMAZING. It is in my pull list, thats for sure.
