July 3, 2013 12:21 pm Looks cool, but since I really love the über serious, dark, gritty Batman, its not really for me. I will check out the first trade though. My Batman or not, more well written Batman is always appreciated.

July 2, 2013 11:29 am I like the team of characters in Thunderbolts so much, that even the pretty mediocre first few issues were a lot of fun to me. I mean, Deadpool, Punisher, Venom and Elektra in a team book??? They have to make it a lot shittier to convince me not to buy that. Still, glad to hear it has a good writer now.

July 2, 2013 11:27 am Saw it in an advance screening. For me, it was dull, mindless, factory made crap that truly represents the worst Hollywood has to offer. Yeah, I am serious. Its basically Pirates of the Texas! But to further explain my point of view I should point out that I also HATED the Pirates movies (only saw 1+2) for the same reasons, so if you liked those you will like this. Why you would do that, however, is a mistery to me. I rewatch MoS again this week, for the 4th time. To me, THAT was great blockbuster filmmaking, but I like m movies to be somewhat serious and present dire situations and a hero who has to overcome a lot of bleakness.

July 1, 2013 2:24 pm For me it was X-statix, Sleeper, Powerless and JLA of course. I have to admit... Haven't finished reading Sleeper. I own the whole run, but was bored to sleep by the halfway mark. I normally like Brubaker, but sometimes he bores me soooooooo much. Maybe someday.

July 1, 2013 2:21 pm I love Batman. He is just the peak of coolness. He is so great, I even follow his shit comics, like the current 'tec run or Batman Dark Knight. I like him so much, I have to own everything with in it. EVERYTHING!!! I know thats voting with my wallet and my walletscreams like a mutherukka "I LOVE ME SOME BATMAN!"

July 1, 2013 4:18 am I would hate for Batman to loose its darkness. To be honest, Batman cannot be dark enough for me. He just works better that way. But hey, I am also one of the few people who was initially turned off by the lighter tone in Waids Daredevil. Dn't get me wrong, now I really like the series, but it took me a long while to get there and I have to admit that I still think the dark tone of Bendis' run was much better for the character.

June 30, 2013 1:45 pm Makes me really sad to read this. Sounds like someone falling out of love with his hobby. Don't know how this can happen at the monent, since right now there are so many great ongoings with the big two and also a lot of great indy books. For me this is one of the best times to be a comic reader and I am in this since the early 90s. I mean, come on! Snyders Batman, Morrisons Batman, Tomasis Batman and Robin, Batwoman, Aquaman by Johns, Animal Man by Lemire, Azzarrellos Wonder Woman and Brother Lono, Hawkeye by Fraction, Thor God Of Thunder, Daredevil by Waid, Fury MAX, Wolverine and the X-Men by Aaron, Avengers and New Avengers by Hickman, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Revival and many more. Oh yeah. I love comics.

June 26, 2013 2:31 pm I love that moment from Morrisons JLA! "Strange... I didn't hear your heartbeat. "Hhhh... gadget worked." So cool! This is one example why I love Morriosn on Batman and Superman so much. He is perfect for those big icons! Also, I kinda like their relationship in the New 52. Sure, we haven't seen much of it yet, but Bruce called on Clark during JL a few times and even said to the rest of the league that they meet often outside of JL business. It seems like their friendship is again a very big thing for those two. High expectations for the new Batman/Superman book!

June 26, 2013 1:16 pm This EXACT problem is why I hate AICN since a few years. The talkback used to be weird and harsh, but FUN. Now its 95% hate and bashing stuff people like. If you are brave, go on there and say you like Chris Nolan movies. You will get crucified like a Uwe Boll fan! And the funniestthing is that back when TDk came out, all those posters loved the man, but now retroactively hate that movie too.
