Guy Fawkes day (or Bonfire Night as we call it here) isn't a holiday but it is as weird as having one because of a crappy 90's film with Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum.
Actually I was in America once and some one asked what we do in the UK for the 4th of July! I replied "Oh we have a big party to celebrate losing!"
July 16, 2008 8:18 am I finally understand what is happing in SI since the timescale was pointed out to me. I think it's pretty cool to have a main book that happens over hours while the other books just fill out detail leading to the (brief) event. It's kinda Lost-ish. Maybe in the second half the other books will jump ahead in time to after the invasion?
You three are wong. The Grant Morrison 1,000,000 cross-over thingy was brilliant!
The page where Superman realises in the distant future that he is still alive and living in the sun - priceless!
It's nice that someone is referencing the old stuff that I remember reading as a boy.
In the first issue it was a clever idea of doing a story of Americans wisiting the UK. Not looking forward to him mangeling the UK slang though.
He he. You all bit!
