January 11, 2011 5:55 pm I'd like to take a moment to be thankful for the debate over whether a book is good or not, or why. It puts things in perspective when held up against debates such as the current Heavy Ink Comic row where its president advocates murder as an acceptable tool against democracy. Give me DC v. Marvel all day, Indie v. Big 2; just respect Paul Cornell's wishes and buy his material from someone other than Heavy Ink.

December 29, 2010 12:23 pm Really wanted to love a "grittier" Batbook like Finch promised, this isn't it though. Met exact expectations; great art and barely-there writing style. Dunno why this concept isn't being handled by a writer with proven chops or an up&comer with some legit heat. At least there's Detective this week...
November 10, 2010 3:19 pm From The Book of Saving Me $4 A Month Spell... d.r.o.p.p.e.d. Thank you Dr. Bendis for making my wallet heavier.
November 8, 2010 8:49 pm Wow. Who gives a shit? Everyone stick a pin in their deep rooted inferiority complex balloons and move on. Seriously, there's a Comic Book Guy for every interest: Baseball Card Guy; Wine/Beer Snob Guy; Art Gallery Guy; Organic Vegan Guy, etc... Just do what you dig with pride and stop having to justify yourselves to people who already share your opinion. This thing's reading like the diary of the kid who needed Charles Atlas to keep the sand out of his mouth.
October 28, 2010 5:30 pm Still can't believe the depths this title sank to in the hands of Hurwitz and the departure of Opena. From pedantic writing and concepts, to bottom of the barrel art, this title has truly been one of the worst things in comics for almost a year now. Hopefully Bendis can pull Spector out of the muck.
October 13, 2010 1:57 pm OMFG!! The store where I bought this opened 5mins late! I gave the employee a spanking because someone NEEDS to be held responsible for delays!!
October 6, 2010 5:23 pm Is this book "wackier" than the fact Himmler truly interpreted Norse/Austrian mythology and mysticism literally, and actually influenced Hitler's belief in the occult. The Runes are a big deal in the grand scheme of history, Hickman is brave for playing with such a rich and mired subject. This guy is tops in the field right now and he's really just getting started.
