After The Avengers in 2012, and Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 in 2013, Disney has announced two Marvel Studios films for 2014. One is set for May 16, 2014 and the next for June 27, 2014. But they haven't yet revealed the titles or subjects of those films.
So what will they be? My guess is Captain America 2 and a Hawkeye movie. But other possibilities include a Black Widow movie, a Nick Fury/S.H.I.E.L.D. movie, a Doctor Strange movie, possibly a Nova movie (Marvel Studios DID mention going cosmic…), or a movie featuring some character that hasn't even discussed yet.

I think Black Widow has a hell of a chance following the Avengers movie.
Hmm, since the Amazing Spider-Man 2 is announced for May 2nd, 2014 I guess it’ll be the next big batch of Marvel movies. So that summer at least 3 different Marvel movies then?

Nova would be cool. Especially if they set up the cosmos as a thing in the Avengers movie. And 2014 should be long enough for the stink of Green Lantern clear a little.

Weren’t there rumblings that there would be a Hawkeye & Black Widow team-up movie? Maybe that was just wishful thinking but I swear I saw it somewhere

I figure we’ll get a safe bet and a curveball, so I’d say… Cap 2 and Doctor Strange. But if we’re playing the fantasy game, I’d kill for some Marvel Cosmic movies (how epic would Annihilation be as a flick?) or a super-mod Captain Britain and the MI:13.
So far, the most “far along” (that we can tell) Marvel movies are Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy.
I’m guessing, since the latest news items pertaining to Marvel Films feature Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy that these are the 2 titles.
I would be very surprised, though if Avengers 2 is NOT one of those 2 titles as well.
I’m agreeing with @Cooper and @Heroville. Beta Ray Bill and Squirrel Girl are the only logical choices. Maybe a ROM Space Knight movie.
I’m thinking that Wolverine 2 would be coming out in 2014 or a Deadpool movie but who knows maybe even another avengers movie!

@conor Just so we can all be clear on this, what are the properties that Marvel Studios can’t touch? X-Men, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Blade, Fantastic Four… pretty much anything that’s been a movie already and isn’t in the Avengers film, right?

I’m guessing Doctor Strange, Ant-Man or Guardians of the Galaxy. I’m hoping for Black Widow and Moon Knight soon. Also, Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. with multiple Nick Furys from various times and realities. Plus HYDRA, AIM, MODOK, lots and lots of LMDs, Agent 13, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Winter Soldier.
i wonder if they arent possiblly one of the licenses coming back home. Maybe the FF couldnt get traction again at fox, and they realized working out a deal with marvel to give it back to them for a payout and a piece of the gross may be worth more that spending $100 million to meet a production deadline and keep the license. Ultimately Fox was the only party to walk away from watchmen a winner. Maybe thats why theres no title announcement made, maybe they deal isnt final, but disney is just claiming those spots.

@lucaswatt marvel got the rights to blade and punisher back joe q said so at comic con, they also cant touch spiderman. I think it will be cap and maybe dr.strange or black panther we could get a war machine film maybe but who knows.
I believe Bleeding Cool had a rumor floating that a ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ movie was going to be announced soon. Not sure if that would go for this but you never know.

@conor and pual In the sdcc animantion booklet states that Ant Man, Luke Cage, Daredevil, fantastic Four reborn, Captain America 2 and Thor 2 are all in pre production for 2013-2014. Luke Cage and Ant Man For 2014.

I think another Avengers movie would be the safe bet/guaranteed money maker. I dont see a Hawkeye movie making any money. maybe a s.h.i.e.l.d. movie just to set up Avengers 2. and with the so so performances of thor and cap i think disney would want something that would get people to the theaters.
