December 23, 2019 6:30 pm B.E.T. bump to Josh. Collectively, you guys pretty much feel as I did. This is the Aquaman of Star Wars films...overpacked, but enjoyable. "...was once a man....yesssssssSSSSSS"
March 8, 2017 8:44 pm Hey guys. I can't believe I'm the first to leave a comment. Loved the show and your comments. I think everyone is doing a fanboy freakout over this film and for good reason. I hope that the genre of superhero films starts to think a bit smaller as you said. My only real nitpick about this movie is that I keep hearing "Old Man Logan" and Millar's name surrounding it. I feel like much more of the story was sourced from "Wolverine: The End" and mashed up with elements of "Old Man Logan". Anyway, let's hope the next X-men movie doesn't push Ron to drink while podcasting.
August 13, 2013 4:03 am All good ideas. A few thoughts though: Quatermain- Hugh Laurie (Hard to get, but probably willing to do it.) Mina- Sophie Winkleman (Big Suze from Peep Show for the uninitiated.) Griffin- Robert Webb (Jeremy from Peep Show) Nemo-Agree with Andrews Campion Bond - Brosnan would be great, but if money is an issue, let's get Laurie to convince Stephen Fry to do the show. Agree with all other choices, although I would love to see Mark Dacascos as Fu Man Chu
June 14, 2013 12:35 pm "Who is that on the phone blowtorch?" "Some guy who says.. he's the viper.." -Blowtorch (in whatever upper East Coast accent that was supposed to be."
June 11, 2012 11:10 am Agree with Ejiofor. If he won't do it, I'd say Idris Elba. He's always down for a Marvel movie.
May 23, 2012 3:21 pm Weller is an inspired choice. Something as big as this should have Conroy doing it, but I can make peace with it.
May 21, 2012 4:31 pm I had trouble with the Wolverine re-launch. I know it is a nit-pick, but even though the art and story were good, I had a lot of trouble with the obvious attempt to de-age Wolverine and the cover trend made me cringe a little bit as it felt like 1992 again where all the covers are the hero "striking a pose" vice incarnation of a scene from the issue.
May 21, 2012 10:58 am I used to love this series. Such a great character. It was great when the brought Team 7 back together for Deathblow's final story (before sort-of resurrection under Alan Moore). In many ways, the series was ahead of its time. It was "24" in a lot of ways, but the art was always a distraction for some people. I know it's kind of typecasting, but I'd rather see Chris Hemsworth as this character. Pursell is ok, I just can't get "Blade: Trinity" out of my head.
May 14, 2012 10:28 am Screw the Sam Jackson cameo. Bring back Willam Dafoe as Osborne and leave fans going WTF?
May 9, 2012 5:42 pm Is Burt Reynolds in this?
