November 21, 2011 1:42 pm Still really enjoying this. It can't be beaten value for money wise. On the weeks where I collect this I do feel like DC and especially Marvel are taking the piss.
November 20, 2011 9:25 pm Its great but seems very familiar. Hitchcock or the cover of a novel. I can't quite place it.
November 20, 2011 9:13 pm Damn! In regard to Black Panther. I followed the first arc and dropped it due to financial constraints. I planned to pick it up in trades. I understand that i contributed to the low sales figures but I figured there was people out there with more cash and more sense. David Liss and Francavello were amazing. Sorry to see it go. Great storyteling with art to match.
November 17, 2011 8:04 pm @Blargo The end of your comment is spot on. This is a young Bruce, so naturally he'll be more arrogant, there's a line when he's talking to Lincoln and he says's "Now.If there really was a Court of Owls don't you think with my roots in this city, I'd have learned they were real long ago?". Anyone enjoying the tension/suspense elements should check out Severed if you're not already reading it. This just beat it as my POTW.
November 15, 2011 6:09 pm This one will be read last, just before bedtime.
November 15, 2011 6:07 pm If this is as good as #2 I'll be more than happy.
November 2, 2011 1:09 pm I loved it. The dialogue, the pacing, the panels, the art. This is 22 pages of greatness. I read this first from my stack. I think that might have been a bad idea now.
October 30, 2011 12:57 pm I thought this was a great issue. Its also my first exposure to Bachalo. I liked the art, it's very kinetic. As for those who see it as poor Wolverine characterisation, what? Do you just like the one dimensional snikt version? I'm looking forward to getting Logan a bit more rounded. Aaron's current Wolverine run is fantastic and if you read it and still think he can't write Wolverine then you and I have very different ideas about fully formed fictional characters.
October 30, 2011 12:45 pm A great start and a very intriguing world. The slang was easy to follow and very refreshing.
October 20, 2011 8:26 am It's greek mythology man. Perhaps this is why you're having trouble following it. Go school yourself!
