Thanks for turning us on to this Jim. Reading BOTG was like a walk down memory lane.I spent so much of my childhood torturing small creatures,this really takes me back.Ah the nostalgia!

 

And yes I'm kidding.I'd totally forgotten Dig'em,odd to think he was lodged in the sofa cracks of my memory.

In regards to finding the energy to do something wrong I think maybe its actually easier for people to motivate themselves.I've seen people drive off to fast food restaurants when they could have cooked something healthy at home.I've known people who do drugs who often won't do an ounce of housework but will go to crazy lengths to score....so much dysfunctional behaviour is people trying to set off the pleasure producing chemicals in their brains.

I'm going to try Beasts of Burden,looks interesting.

BQ: Pat Benatar "Love is a Battlefield". Cracks me up every time.I tried linking it but was told my link led to a malformed video on YouTube and I'm too lazy to find it elsewhere.Its an important clip because it draws attention to the plight of runaway girls who are forced into slow dancing with strangers...its an issue that doesn't get enough attention in the media.

I've been catching up with DMZ in trades.I'm liking it a lot.I might go crazy and buy some recent back issues to catch up with reading it monthly.

BQ: Not sure why Paul would like to spend time in a brutal prison but I guess I'll go for Oz too, maybe as a warden so I can try to keep him from getting shivved.He meant what? oh....

September 1, 2009 9:47 am One of the few books I read because I really really liked the story.The art was always good too,especially considering the level of detail and keeping schedule with no fill in artists.As far as I can remember it pretty much came out on time.
