July 20, 2015 7:23 am I also read an incredible amount of expanded universe Star Wars stuff back in the late 90s. I stopped reading the books a year or so before Chewy died, but I remember that well as a friend of mine was still reading at the time. The Thrawn books were the best books in my opinion, followed by Shadows of the Empire. For the comics side Dark Horse should be commended for the work they did. Dark Empire was what got me "back" into Star Wars shortly before the release of the Special Editions. It remains one of my favorite comic series of all time. Dark Empire II and Empire's End (part 3) were also ok, but part 1 was amazing. Other great comics were - Crimson Empire 1 and 2, and Tales of the Jedi. Tales of the Jedi was one of the first books/comics to touch on the very old back story of the jedis and the sith. On another note, I wonder how many listeners of the podcast have a garage/room/or even boxes full of old Star Wars stuff from the 90s? I know I do lol.

June 29, 2015 4:23 am This is crazy timing. I started listening to the show a couple episodes before Ron left. A couple months ago I decided to go back and listen to all the episodes I missed, so I started from Episode 116 (first one available) and I literally just caught up to 370s. Thanks for the show all of you guys! Was good to have Ron back.

I have visited Panels.net and the articles there are interesting and I will keep coming back. However, the Oh Comics podcast is not at the same level of POTW IMO. But keep it up and keep delivering good content over there. Josh and Connor, I look forward to the future, dont go anywhere!!!!!!!!

September 1, 2014 8:17 am Great podcast guys. I too got back into comics as a high schooler when I saw and then read, "Dark Empire". I remember I had a Web of SpiderMan number 1 and I traded it to my friend for Dark Empire number 1. Maybe I got the bad end of the deal but I think I would still make the same trade as this is what got me into comics AND star wars. (this must have been 1995ish) This is still one of my favorite Star Wars stories. Its a shame that Dark Horse is losing the license but hopefully Marvel will bring something new to the table. I
