Name: Casey Thomasson

Bio: Warrior from the future sent back in time to teach the past how to be awesome. And also for comics.I lean toward the tights and fights genre, but if the story's not there then neither am I (I'm lookin' at you, Fear Itself...). That said, off-beat gems like Bone, Midnight Nation and Y: The Last Man have been known to keep my attention. Green Lantern, Silver Surfer, Young Justice and the Avengers made me love comics, but the loss of Slingers taught me the bitter lessons of fanboydom. Now I just love readin' 'em, commentin' on 'em and havin' a grand ol' time!

July 23, 2013 12:49 pm It's... ok. I'm still buying it, but mostly for Rocafort and likely not for much longer...
July 23, 2013 12:44 pm Well, we know that there's a Superior/Scarlet crossover coming up, but yeah, I don't know if the book will survive much beyond that without a big bump.
July 23, 2013 12:43 pm I am curious enough to give this an issue.
July 17, 2013 10:47 pm Ok, so Mark is sent to a desert dimension, he fights some evil Invincibles, something gross and bloody happens, a villain is convinced to stop being evil with words, and we get hints that maybe Mark is kind of a bad guy, maybe, some day. *sigh* Much as it pains me, I think I need a break from this book. It's really starting to feel like the same plots, over and over again.
July 17, 2013 10:41 pm Boy, I actually really enjoyed this issue! Glad I stuck around!
July 15, 2013 2:53 pm Absolutely in love with the digital version... trying to decide if I want to double dip.
July 15, 2013 2:50 pm Yeah, there's almost zero plot, but tons of character work. Somehow, I'm still digging it a bunch!
July 15, 2013 2:36 pm It's still good, but I've definitely gotten a bit bored with the title. This always seems to happen after a landmark issue, while Kirkman starts building up subplots to pay off later. Lately, however, it kinda feels like the same plots he's been using for the last 100 issues. I dunno. Maybe I need to switch to trades...
July 11, 2013 9:32 pm Oh, how I hope that it's better than the last one...
