Since I am super late on this review, I am not going to go into much detail. I enjoyed this issue. It wasn’t great, but it was solid. When it comes to writing, Daniel has become a hit-or-miss with me. He can write some pretty nice stuff, and then he can write some really stupid, hard-to-read stuff. This issue was pretty solid. Some of the dialogue was pretty weak, but it wasn’t bad enough to ruin the whole issue. The ending of this issue was one of the greatest and most intriguing issues to a comic book in a long time, from what I’ve seen. Daniel is amazing with his art capabilities, and there is nothing to complain about on that front. Still, his writing left me wanting something a bit more. It’s not that I’m not happy with this issue, he just didn’t do a good job of selling me on this first arc as a hole. I will continue to pull this book through at least the first arc, but I hope that he brings a little bit more to the table in a future issue.

  1. I gave the art a 4. I guess this system is wanting us to pick the same number for both. Hopefully this bug will be sorted out…
