I was very pleased with how the previous incarnation of Detective Comics ended and wondered how DC would be able to pull off a restart on this long running series.

I was very satisfied with this new relaunch. Art was very good, Story was interesting and kept you waiting for more of the story to come.

What I really liked about this relaunch is how the Joker was written. I liked this versioin of the Joker, you could just feel the mental coming from him.

Another aspect that I found well done is how Batman seems more human then superhuman. It is almost like he still growing into the Batman role, doesn’t know every trick in the trade, simply put he is vunerable.

This makes Batman more real, just like the shocked effect that Green Lantern had in the new Justice League from last week.

Another well done book for this relaunch.
