This is Shit, post fan.

This issue right from the start had that feel of dread and defeat that Final Crisis did. Which is one of many things this book has in common with Final Crisis. You know Killing off the _____, Bringing back Aquaman, being DC Big Badass Event book. The works.
But I’ll leave my Love of Final Crisis out of this.
From Cover to Cover this issue leave subtle little creepy notes to the reader. Like the first Issue Logo(I hate so much) has just a little bit of grime on it to match the Title, the Dead and dying plants in nearly every panel that’s in a Graveyard(and Fish too), and best of all the dark colors they use for this issue, even the brightest pages are just a little dark, or maybe I need a better light.
Now I don’t want to say too much about this issue, but frankly, this issue is great, but the best part is the freaking ring they give you when you buy it. If only my comic shop guy screamed “FLESH” at me and then told me to rise before giving it to me. But the ring is basically that extra dollar you’re paying for this book. Now I can only hope that when I buy issue 2 of this, I get another ring, or do I have to buy that set?
Any who, this book is something outta this world… well… that’s the idea, but still, it’s a Must for anyone who loves Tights, Zombies and Intergalactic Wars. And isn’t that every Comic book fan?

  1. I think the extra dollar you paid also has to do with those 18 extra pages of story.

  2. Sure it does. But I’d rather think I got a Ring for a Buck than 30 cents worth of paper for a buck.

  3. Ok, I’ll meet you half way. I’ll go with 50 cents extra for pages and 50 cents extra for ring

  4. I’ll take it.

  5. I didn’t get a ring with the variant.

  6. Too bad man.

You should go to you’re comic book guy and scream flesh at him until he throws one at you.

Unless you use the Discount comic books service…
