I’m tempted to just write: “Holy Shit”, and leave it at that.  This issue was even more intense than I expected, and I had some pretty high expectations.

I imagine most of you are unfamiliar with this little underground comic.  The whole Green Lantern universe has been kind of under the radar for the last few years.  Mediocre stories, blah art.  It’s no wonder that neither Conor, Ron, nor Josh have mentioned the term “green lantern” on a single podcast for the last three years.  I’m hoping, at some point, that one of them writes an article about where to jump on in this series, and which order to read the stories in.

Apparently, the last three years of stories have been leading up to this issue.  Those issues are probably worth reading as this issue was so good, I had to change my pants, like, four times.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Yeah, why don’t they publish an article on where to jump on at in the GL stories. I also wonder what order I should read them in once they tell me that jumping on point. Why don’t you guys get on top of this?

  2. @misacke Um, dude, I think your sarcasm detector may be on the fritz, you should get that looked at.

  3. One needs to recharge their ring in order to detect better sarcasm.

Am I alone in the feeling that this isnt the same as an "event" book, despite the fact that there’s about 4 other spin off titles to get that correspond to this story (not that I’m complaining)?
