  1. Actually it was GREAT!!!!

  2. oh okay I stand corrected

  3. It was not "good" or "great" but "VERY GOOD", and anyone who says otherwise is WRONG. 😛

  4. OK… I’m going to slowly make my way out of this comment box… must get.. to the..submit button..before Black Lanterns flapjaxx and changingshades attack…..ahhhhhhhh!

  5. The art IS great.  I just wish I know what the hell the story is about!

  6. ah ah ah. where do you think you’re going?

And robby, the story is about super powered turtles that have ancient Japanese weaponry and like pizza.

    Also cake

  7. I actually agree with you, changingshades.  I thought there were some great, emotional moments with characters, but overall I was underwhelmed.  I don’t know how to explain it yet exactly, but I felt like something was missing from this first issue to make it really great.

  8. @Legend

Thank you. It wasn’t that it was bad, and it didn’t really fail. It was just set a mostly set up issue. And I know it’s issue one, but we’ve had the road to BN pretty much since the end of Sinestro War. I’m not a huge fan of Final Crisis, but at least once it started it STARTED, y’know?

Like I said, good, just not great

  9. I have no clue what’s you’re talking about with Ronnie Raymond, Changingshades. He gets a ring right in the middle of the splash page where the rings are moving toward the graves. He just hasn’t appeared yet.

  10. Where Scar is saying the darkness cannot fest on your hearts they need full ones.

Is he talking about Firestorm or the guardians he’s gooing to the wall? I was confused

  11. Why would scar be talking about Ronnie Raymond? In any event, Scar kills the guardian and takes his heart out. She tries to use it as a power source for the Black lanterns but it’s devoid of emotion, so it can’t be used. It looks as if the Black Lanterns are attracted to emotion, and thus why we see the two Hawks glowing in the spectrum before the end of the issue. Presumably, this is why Scar glues the other guardians instead of killing them outright.

  12. The placement of the word balloons wasn’t clear and the reasoning wasn’t readily apparent to me, which is a problem I sometimes have with Johns. He will give a pseudo science explanation for the motiviation of his characters and assume it makes immediate sense.
