The art is just … guh. It’s so amazing.

I’m not quite sure i dig how ghostly-pale Kane is, though. It seems like it’s pretty obvious who Batwoman is. Find the only other chick in town that glows and you’re good to go.

The story in this one gets dinged a few points for being a bit too … talky. While the conversations about the other batpeople made me want to keep reading some of their books more than any of their own #1 issues, it still felt a bit shoe-horned in. I would have liked more action in general in this one, which feels weird to say, since the interpersonal relationships seem to be the thing I’m drawn to in other books.

But the art. Seriously.
