Aquaman #1 was probably the biggest surprise for me during September’s New 52 relaunch. I had never expected to read an Aquaman story in my entire life, until Johns got involved with the character anyway. Johns starts it off with a script that gets new readers up to date on the basics while keeping things interesting with some interesting new as of now unnamed villains. The visuals are so easy to understand too. Reis is doing an even better job here, so far, then he was doing with Blackest Night! I have high hopes for this title and am inclined to believe many of you agree for multiple other reasons. All heil to King Aquaman!!
