Korny!

C class Super Hero!

Not anymore!

I think this was one of the best redo’s in the DC 52 1st.

The story was slow and not action packed, however Geoff Johns take on this often laughed at Hero was something that I could buy into. I am old enough to remember Aquaman from teh Super Friends saturday morning TV show, and know that Aquaman has never really been taken seriously.

The story in this issue actually pokes a lot of fun into those old time stero typing of this hero.

I like the direction this book appears to be going in, and glad to see this fresh restart to this character.

Even thought the story was mostly a slow mover, not much action at all, it sets the stage for a whole new take on this hero.

On a side note, for those of you that are looking for the mystery woman in all of these 1st’s, probably the most hard one to find that I have seen so far, though I have not bought and read every single 1st issue so far.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
