I slept maybe three hours last night in Nashville. Everytime I would get use to hell raining on my tin roof the wind would change directions and get louder. The dog panting in terror non stop didn’t help either.
Light week for me, but all stuff I’m looking forward to — Flash, Cap & Bucky, and X-Men Legacy (if you’re enjoying Wolverine and The X-Men, you really might like the new creative team on Legacy, the point one issue was a nice companion piece).
BQ: Winter’s been pretty relaxed in southeast Michigan. Got the first “shovelable” snowfall on Friday, but today it’s 50 and rainy. As long as this doesn’t mean it’s gonna be 120 every day in August, I’m cool with it!
Nice, solid week to end the first month of the year.

BQ: We had thunderstorms lastnight here in central Illinois…not unheard of, but pretty uncommon. Been much warmer here so far and much less snow than we usually have.

It’s raining in San Francisco and it sucks. It makes it more sad since the 49ners lost. 🙁

Sad not to see the new Infestation on Conor’s list; I was hoping for weekly updates like last time.
BQ: We had an ice storm Friday night into Saturday. Even Sunday morning, the cars were coated in solid ice. Monday morning, feels like spring. Which means that Reds’ Opening Day in April (four days before Easter mind you) will bring snow, because it’s shaping up to be that kind of a year.
I’ve got Angel & Faith, I Vampire, and Voodoo on tap for a light week.
It’s just been snowing over Saturday (just 3 or so inches) here in Boston, but warming up to the 50s in a bit. Global weirding. Weird.
BQ: I wore short sleeves all weekend here in Texas. Two weeks ago I was wearing two jackets and a scarf. Today I’m back in a hoodie and it looks like it’ll be back in the 40s next week. My allergies can’t take much more of this undecided weather.

I’ve decided to skip Remender’s Secret Avengers until after AvX at least, i’ve no interest in anything to do with Marvel events right now, likewise i was going to check out Savage Hawkman (really just for Gentleman Ghost) but since Liefeld’s coming on i’ll just skip it and get the 1st trade from amazon down the line.
BQ: here in Vancouver (the Canadian one) we had snow at the start of this past week, which turned to rain at the weekend. the rain is continuing. windy now too.
It’s not what I’d consider a banner week, but American Vampire, Flash, Remender on Secret Avengers and Hickman (three times over) is enough to keep my interest. Justice League has also really grown on me after the first couple of issues left me cold.
BQ: Well in my corner of the Uk, at least, it’s been a disappointing winter. It’s a little chilly, but nothing like it should be, which I think is a shame. I like a good cold to the bone winter, the kind that makes you glad to either bundle up or hide under a blanket at home. This year it’s just kind of bleeurgh…grey, dismal and drizzly.
Yes, we Brits really can talk about the weather all day long.

BQ: Los Angeles is finally getting some much-needed rain! Yes, it helps for drought purposes… but I need it for snowboarding later this week! 🙂

Same here. Usually by now, even here in the southeastern U.S., we should have been hit with ice storms, or snow. Usually ice storms. Nothing. It’s barely been cold even.

Super tired at the moment, really busy with preproduction for a group film for University (studying Television production at Bournemouth Uni) as well as working on a presentation, an essay, my individual assessed film and revising for a camera test.
I’ve also been doing some paid logo animation work on the side and hope to work on some music videos soon.
And somehow I find time to read through my weekly comics (and Transmetropolitan and Y The Last Man in trades).
Oh, and I’m also looking for work experience.
Busy, busy, busy but honestly loving it.

BQ: The winter her in the Netherlands has been extremely mild. No snow, no ice just mild. If anything it maybe was a little wet, but that’s it. We do need some really cold days now, otherwise there’s going to be too many annoying bugs in spring and summer.

BQ: We got some snow, but nothing major. Been pretty cold, but that’s t be expected, since I live in New England and it’s Winter.
I don’t think I’ve actually made a pull list in over a year so, you know, I’ll see what’s there on the day.
Anyway, the weather here in Canberra has been totally messed up by which I mean kind of nice for a change. I think I read something about it being the coldest december on record. But all that means is over christmas and new years it wasn’t hitting 35 degrees C at 11.30 in the morning and remaining that hot or hotter until 9 at night
It seems like everyone has a pretty light week, and I’m not different. Only getting X-Men Legacy, Angel & Faith, Secret Avengers, and Deadpool
End of the month brings with it 9 books. It’s time to make some cuts.

Mid sized week for me, still in the process of making cuts so the weeks are only going to get smaller. Hopefully anyway.
On a completly different note I’ll be moving to Melbourne in the next few months and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good shop down there for me. I’d appreciate it.
BQ- It’s been a really wet, moderate summer here in western Sydney. I think we only had one week of 40 degree heat which is unusual.
The weather in a Ohio has been all over the place. First it’s raikny. Then it’s nice enough you can wear shorts and just a shirt. Then it’s cold with snow all around. Now it’s back to rain.
I, personally, want some more snow so I can make my robot snowman.

BQ: Rainy right now, on and off. Supposed to have t-storms today through Thursday, high near 60. Friday, sunny near 70 and on into the weekend. Looks like a good one to get outside.
I should be a weatherman. Too bad I almost flunked atmospheric science in school.
Excited about American Vampire and now Secret Avengers .1, and though it doesn’t give me the same feel as earlier arcs I’m enjoying The Unwritten. I’m also VERY excited for Red Skull: Incarnate! Hoping they have all the covers and maybe a little bit of extras. I dropped off Green Wake monthlies after the first arc but I’m curious to see what comes of it. I doubt my shop will order the trades as they are a bit stingy…
BQ: Cool and humid in the mornings and warm and humid until the next morning, that’s winter in Florida.
This week I have just one comic, TMNT #6, I can’t remember the last time I’ve ever walked out of the LCS with a single issue. I even walked around to try to find something else and there wasn’t anything I was interested in or am not waiting on the trade for. Crazy. It just feels wrong.
