EXCLUSIVE: ‘Hawkeye and Mockingbird’ Ongoing Series From Marvel!
March 10, 2010 3:49 pm Can't wait for this, loved The Reunion mini. I think they're doing this the right way by introducing a supporting cast along with the leads and having it be firmly set in the Marvel U. I think past Hawkeye series haven't worked because it was just him, he's great when he plays off others, especially Mockingbird.

Pick of the Week #197 – The Marvels Project #1
August 17, 2009 10:04 am I've really been enjoying Incredible Hercules, I really find it different than anything else out there right now and I almost always get a chuckle out of it. I have to say I laughed out loud at 132 in the recap of Thor's origin. Third panel in showing Don Blake hitting the giant rock with the walking stick. The annotation reads, "A wuss with rubber band arms tries to smash a boulder with a stick...truly, one of the greatest origin stories ever told." I just laughed while typing that.

ULTIMATE COMICS AVENGERS #1
August 13, 2009 12:04 pm Really enjoyed this, fun action Michael Bay type comic. Looking forward to where this is going, Millar clearly really likes this universe and these characters and Pacheco killed it on the art

ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN #1
August 13, 2009 11:56 am I absolutely loved this and really enjoyed Ultimate Avengers too. It looks like lots of characters will be popping up like Human Torch. Bendis can write this title forever as far as I'm concerned. LaFuente is definitely a different take and I can do without his Charlie Brown Spider-head but apart from that, really nice art too

IMMORTAL WEAPONS #1 (OF 5)
July 24, 2009 2:51 pm The combination of Jason Aaron writing and a fantastic character like Fat Cobra, this thing couldn't miss for me. And the co-feature (sorry, backup story) was nice as well. I'm curious how the rest of these will be with other creators and less well defined immortal weapons.
