Marvel continues to tease us with the books coming out from Marvel NOW! this January. Today it’s a tease from some of our favorite creators for a book we’re hotly anticipating…
We’ve seen teasers that suggest that Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie will be working on Young Avengers, and I suppose you could place the “amateurs” status on the young heroes in that book…But one can’t help but wonder if there’s some sort of meta-commentary going on here in relation to the creative team? Hmmm.

Definitely looks like a Young Avengers book with Loki. Which I will definitely try but again I think McKelvie’s mainstream work has been pretty disappointing.
Really? I’ve enjoyed him on Defenders.
McKelvie’s issue of Secret Avengers with Ellis was also very, very good.
I’m trying to keep my Marvel books count at 20, but I am having a hard time: I am already at 21. I’ll have some reshuffling to do.
If this is a Young Avengers (or other teenage) book I want this.
I need a witty teenage Marvel book and a pairing like Gillen+McKelvie would be able to deliver that.
