Im excited for the new WONDER WOMAN, definitely… but this week, I’m even exciteder for the debut of INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK! And on the same week as a new DAREDEVIL!
I want to marry Mark Waid at this point, sheesh… he’s just so good. Leinil Yu is also wonderful. As is Brian Azz, and the fantastic Cliff Chiang, and… there are just so many talented people in comics these days, we are blessed.

It’s a light week (thank Christ), but a good one for me. Looking forward to Daredevil, Wonder Woman, UXF, and W&TXM.
BQ: Dinner at my aunt’s house with my extended family. Then turning in early to get up at 4:30 and work Black Friday. Thanksgiving and Xmas are pretty much ruined when you work retail. Won’t stop me from having a few drinks after dinner though. I need a new job.
Most excited about Captain America, Uncanny X-Force, Daredevil, and the Rocketeer.
BQ: Leaving at about 3:00 tomorrow morning and driving down to my in-laws place in Florida. It’ll be the first time I’ve swum on Thanksgiving and the first time I’ve driven 1200 miles with a 6 month old.

I must not have subscribed to Mind the Gap because I missed the last two issues. Going to have to pick up the trade because it is an excellent story.
BQ: I am going to read the first five trades of Scalped (already done with 1). Amazing story and I’m sure I’ll be spending over my budget for the month buying them all up. Then I will do what I always do on Thanksgiving. Eat a huge meal and lay on the couch to watch football. Make it through the first quarter then fall asleep. Wake up at the end of the game, get up and make myself a big turkey sandwich, play board games with the family, take a second nap.Then, play with the dogs outside, complain about winter coming, play more board games with the family, go to bed. Good ol Thanksgiving!

Just moved to LA last week, not about to fly back home to NJ. First Thanksgiving that is all friends and no Family.
Thanksgiving in Saudi Arabia is a football-less alcohol-less affair. Nevertheless the possibility of marshmallow roasting is enough to keep me satiated.
Another good week at image so getting Mind The Gap, Clone, Comeback (bit gutted that Planetoid has been put back yet again), Hawkeye, The Unwritten & my final issue of Dark Avengers!

On the fence with Clone,Comeback, Indestructible Hulk, Deadpool, Wolverine and the X-men (its been since the 1st arc but looks like a fun time to come back),Judge Dredd #1 and ASM to see how this Doc Ock learning his identity effects the end of this series along w 699,699.1 and 700. I’m really trying to limit the 3.99 titles. I enjoy light weeks and with those on top of my pull due to a cpl minis, a one shot and a new series it’ll be far from light.
BQ: Having dinner with some family and friends then watch the Detroit Lions (Michigan/NFL/Thanksgiving tradition), read some comics and rest up.
Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow is getting pulled too, only G.I.Joe comic I’ve ever read and really surprised how much I like it but those two characters are classic childhood favs and its interesting to see where they are now amongst the other sides being chosen in the G.I.Joe/cobra universe.

Just jumped on to Daredevil and Wolverine and the X-Men. I know that the last issue of Wolverine/X-men was a good jumping point, but i have no idea what’s going on in Daredevil so maybe i’ll wait a bit before i get around reading it? Guess i’ll find out.
BQ: Thanksgiving dinner with family and family friends. Planning to have an after thanksgiving party also with friends consisting of a potluck of leftovers and the Avengers blu-ray.

Secret#1 – spooky corporate espionage. Def pick up #2
Frankenstein , Alive, Alive!#2 Frankenstein Agent of SHADe#14- two great takes that go great together. Wrightson is still my favorite artist and Kindt is keeping the Creature Comandos weird. The Ponticelli monstrosities surpass anything in Mignolaverse and that is the highest of praise.
