September 3, 2013 10:44 am Thanks guys for everything. Over two years ago I was a lost soul trying to find my way back into floopies. I had absolutely no idea where to start, or essentially how to get there, but with the help of iFanboy, and your devoted community, I was guided down a path that has re-opened my eyes to this medium, and I am great full everyday for it. I look forward to still enjoying the POTW pod cast and anything else you have time for. Thanks again guys, and good luck with all that you do from here on out. Oh and P.S. Fear Agent was a title that I was turned onto solely by iFanboy. Just thought ya'll should know that, cause I know you're proud of the campaign you guys put forth to make sure everyone and their dogs knew about it when it was around.
August 24, 2013 10:02 pm Deep breath in ....... OK, so I'm not completely pissed about this, and not fully on board yet, but I will say this. Looking at photos of Affleck with a beard and the dark hair. I see a very cartoon looking Bruce Wayne and believe this can work, but then I watch DareDevil and think, Oh God No! However; some of Affleck's acting work as of late has been pretty good, and well received all around. If he can drop the Boston accent, he could be workable. After all Batman doesn't really need to have lines does he???
August 1, 2013 12:31 am *Itho* holy s#%t that comment made me bust a gut laughing. You have made my day sir. On a side note looking forward to seeing what they CW does with flash, it would be interesting to see them take a gritty crime drama approach.
May 10, 2013 7:57 pm Hehehehehe Captain Planet
May 6, 2013 1:23 pm What a great day. Was able to get all the freebies I had set my eyes on. I am very fortunate to have 6 LCBS within a 30 minute walk from each other, so there was plenty to go around. Ended up picking up Walking Dead, Infinity, Ugly Doll Comics, DC's superman, Dark Horse, Valiant, IDW, and Bongo, plus a ton of single back issues my stores love to give away. Can't wait till next year, it just keeps getting bigger and better each go around.
April 16, 2013 3:09 pm Iron Man 3 6/10, just feels like an accuse to put as many CGI Iron Mans on the screen at once (wait for cheap night 2-3 week) Star Trek 9/10, the new trailer has me really excited for this one (week 1-2) Man of Steel 9/10, the recent General Zod viral campaign has brought me from a 7 to a 9. (week1) Lone Ranger - Meh (wait for dvd) Pacific Rim 6/10, maybe a 7 because watching large things smash each other on a big screen is always enjoyable. (cheap night week 2-3) Wolverine 8/10, hopefully they will get it right this time. Hopefully. (Cheap night week 2) Elysium 8/10, looks like a fun sci-fi flick. (week 1-2) Kick-Ass 2 9/10, not so much for the movie itself, as I am more interested in seeing Jim Carrey as Col Stars n Stripes. (week 1) Sin City 7/10, More Marv is always good (cheap night week 1-2) Thor 2 8/10, eager to see the exploration of the realms. (week 1-2)
April 2, 2013 2:14 pm Koblish will be a nice change of pace for this issue, but I thought Mike Hawthrone was taking over Moore's duties on the pencils, which I was rather excited about, as it is sad to see Moore (in his typical fashion) leave this book so early, it was nice to know Hawthrone would be taking his place being that he did such a great job working with Moore on Fear Agent. They share very similar styles that will work well to keep this book popular (for me anyways), as Moores art is what originally pulled me towards this title.
March 9, 2013 2:20 am FLYBALLS, I Loved those ice cream bars, those and the Phantoms. Oh and those comics look like they could be interesting.
March 5, 2013 3:49 am Really nice to finally see Michonne come out of her shell for a bit. She had me in stitches, between eating Morgans food, to going back for the multi colored cat statue.
March 2, 2013 12:38 pm I may be a little confused, but I'm not 100% sure where Batman Inc falls in the continuity of The New 52. Is it set in the near future, distant future, alternate bat reality. Cuz if so, won`t we still get to see Damian in the Batman and Robin title, or is he going to disappear from them as well, and Batman, and any other Bat-Family books he decides to make appearances in? I guess to sum it up, I'm going to miss "Morrisons" Damian, but we still be moderately happy to see him in the other titles, if he gets to stick around for those. Community is so weird now, its like their hideous made the writers think they really had to bring the crazy now to make up for so much lost time. TROY AND ABED R.I.P. DAMIAN
