March 2, 2010 1:31 pm Yep, feels more and more like this will be street level Avengers.
March 1, 2010 11:18 pm I have a feeling this book was gonna be "Street Avengers" originally but they probably decided against using the title because of its similar sounding name to Secret Avengers, and also the fact that New Avengers has become a staple of their brand. I wouldnt be surprised at all if this team is basically Iron Fist, Daredevil and more street level characters. I'm just happy Immonen has a place to showcase his great work.

Theres nothing worse than balancing a comics stack with a prose one. Throughout the year i eventually kill my comics stack in a surge but i will never EVER empty my prose stack. It's always at least ten books high and is refilled more often than my pint glass, which for an irishman, is refilled with great regularity

February 25, 2010 8:31 pm sold for $600 in 1960? that is A LOT of money for a comic in the 60's. wow
February 25, 2010 11:42 am Like Mike I have multiple stacks. One for single issues i need to get too but just aren't a priority. One for standard paperback trades (which tends to contantly grow as my amazon wishlist gets near empty every payday) and my omnibus/ absolute stack. I tend to read my omnibus' slowest as they hurt my legs when i read. also i could read three modern day comics in the space of time it takes to read a classic claremont x-men title so that slows me down just as much
August 25, 2008 12:42 pm finally amazing spider-man is back to high quality spidey stories. I missed them so much all those years
August 19, 2008 2:33 pm This book was excellent! It really is a great sister book to JMS' ongoing and is a perfect example of what an event tie in should be; at least an event in the mold of secret invasion. I think im now even more excited for Thor's corner of the invasion than the rest of the event.
August 10, 2008 3:09 pm I really liked this issue actually. The Xavier/ Magneto relationship is very interesting as always. I agree about the lack of action but seeing how the story was playing out I think it would have felt forced to throw in an action sequence.

Please get Jeph Loeb off of this book now! Hulk was so good with Grek Pak in control, i'm ashamed to say i kept this up and decided against Incredible Hercules post-WWH. This book is painful to read at times. I will be dropping this very quickly if the Red Hulk stays around. He is soooooooooooooooo annoying. I'll give a few more issues a chance when the Hul returns as the lead character IN HIS OWN BOOK!

On a plus Olivier Coipels cover was beautiful!

August 10, 2008 2:12 pm Really enjoyed this issue and cannot wait to see where we go from here. This fresh status quo is very exciting
