April 1, 2013 10:45 am Dark Horse is doing great things with Star Wars. I'm going to be really bummed when, as I presume will happen, Disney ends the relationship.
March 7, 2013 7:38 am I agree about the dialogue.
March 6, 2013 11:36 pm I think so. It's very much a first issue: Bunn introduces the characters and establishes the basic premise. And because it's all about foundation-laying, this issue, as far as the story goes, won't blow your mind. But I expect that if you read this issue, you'll be back for the second issue. The art is fantastic.
March 4, 2013 11:28 pm I thought his death was poorly executed, to be honest. When Damian was on the ground looking up at his clone, I expected to turn the page and see him get whatever he had coming. But it was all the way on the right side of the page, so it took a second before I got to it. By then, the connection with the prior page--Damian's fear, looking up at his clone, and knowing what was about to happen--was lost.
February 20, 2013 10:22 pm Green Lantern is one of my favorite characters, but I've disliked the books in the New 52. But as a guy who has loved XO Manowar, Luther Strode, and Last of the Greats, I couldn't be more excited about the new writers. These are the types of writers I want DC to build around. As for the artists, I'll take a wait-and-see approach.
January 21, 2013 1:29 pm Paul is a fantastic and worthy replacement. But your commentary and perspective will be greatly missed, Ron. Congrats on your new job
January 21, 2013 1:07 pm A little surprised that many didn't like this issue. I loved it. One of my favorite of Marvel NOW si far.
January 8, 2013 8:08 am As one of the few people on this site who regularly pulls the Star Wars comics, I feel less lonely today.
December 18, 2012 8:49 am Yeah, this book is solid. A few of the Star Wars books are good these days.
November 23, 2012 10:05 am I didn't think I'd stick around after Ennis's story-arc. But I liked issue #7.
