  1. Even with Saga and Daredevil coming out, this is my most anticipated read this week. That novelty factor and Hardman art..

  2. Looking forward to this.

  3. Gabe Hardman is an artist you cannot ignore. Consider me sold thanks to Paul’s Talksplode interview!

Hardman + female lead = sold.

Just read this first issue. It’s dazzling. Captures the Star Wars spirit in ways so few Star Wars books have managed over the years, enjoyable as they might be. A true call to adventure with captivating political intrigue.

    You want in on this.

  6. This is the Star Wars comic I’ve been waiting for. I prefer new Star Wars stories that are more distant from the movies so anything in the Legacy or Old Republic era is a good start. Add the solid foundation of Ostrander’s Legacy series, a great writing team who really get what makes Star Wars great (thanks to Paul’s Talksplode for making that clear) and pitch perfect pacing and you’ve got a winner. Oh, and Hardman on art sure as hell doesn’t hurt. The sequence from pages 4 to 8 is particularly stunning.

While they’re on the role, Dark Horse ought to go ahead and launch a new volume of Knights of the Old Republic as well 😀

  7. Apparently this gave me small case of Star Wars fever because I just ordered the first trade of the current Dawn of the Jedi series. I’ll be replaying Knights of the Old Republic II again if this keeps up…

  8. This was great and that little Mon Cal is adorbs

  9. Dark Horse is doing great things with Star Wars. I’m going to be really bummed when, as I presume will happen, Disney ends the relationship.
