  1. Loving this series so far. Remender is really crafting a very cool tale here.

    • Im not a Cap fan in the least, but decided to give the solo series a shot NOW! Liking it so far, gonna give it an arc or 2 before deciding if I am on board for the long haul, remender has earned that from me. If not, when i can get my Cap fix in Avengers

    • I’m in the same boat. Cap is a nice character but his solo adventures have never really thrilled me. I picked the first two comics up on a lark and really fell in love with them. I’m hoping Remender keeps this book lively and interesting for the long term. I’m definitely not signed up for the long haul come-heck-or-high-water but for now, I’m going to enjoy myself. 🙂

  2. By subscription.

Hoping that I love this. I’ll read it when I have the whole arc stockpiled.

  3. I’m not a fan of John Romita Jr but his artwork and the colorist combined seems to match this comic perfectly. Classic feel with this sci first story.

  4. Good to see I’m not the only one digging this so far, felt the jump forward in issue 2 really helped and was a brave move. I also like the way the world is presented at face value without the need to justify and explain every little thing.

  5. I’m digging Remender’s Cap thus far. The first 2 issues haven’t reached Uncanny X-Force level but have been solid. I just hope dimension Z isn’t more than a year long.

As for the art, I’m not an JRJ hater but it’s just been ok. There’s something about the way he draws hair that really bugs me.

  6. I didn’t like this series after the first issue. I’m glad I stayed with it, it’s very entertaining.

  7. I loved the first two, this one was just OK. I love the art but the story just didn’t catch my interest.

  8. Im not the only one here who isn’t a big fan of this book. I enjoyed this issue more than the first two but I’m still not thrilled. It’s not that it’s written poorly its just I like Cap on earth. Maybe it will just take a bit of getting used to.

  9. I didn’t care much for the flashback scene to Steve’s childhood this time. The kids were too cartoony for my taste. The episode really felt out of place next to the Dimension Z tale.

  10. A little surprised that many didn’t like this issue. I loved it. One of my favorite of Marvel NOW si far.
